Kerry’s Wife’s Husband’s House

in Liberals - Kerry

I don’t begrudge anyone’s wealth. In fact, I’d like to be well-off myself. But to hear Kerry and Edwards criticize Bush’s tax cuts “for the rich” and incite class envy when they live like this ruffles my feathers, to put it in the kindest way possible.

The difference between wealthy liberals and wealthy conservatives is that liberals don’t want other people to become rich. While wealthy conservatives like George Bush push economic policies that promote job growth and investment, liberals push failed, bloated social programs designed to keep people dependent, programs that require revenue, which, in turn, require tax increases.

Conservatives want to privatize social security so hard-working folks can choose to invest more of their own money instead of relying on the government to take care of them in their retirement.

I listened to a 34 year-old, single male caller on Rush Limbaugh yesterday who said he wasn’t voting for George Bush because the tax cut he received was too small! He whined that the tax cut netted him only $13.00 every pay period.

Rush asked him what kind of tax cut he thought he’d get under Democrats. The caller had no answer. Liberals are usually stumped by logical reasoning.

This man was angry because his tax cut was too small. That would lead you to believe he expected and wanted a bigger tax cut, right? So to stick it to George Bush, he’s going to vote for Kerry, who’ll not only give him no tax cut, but will likely increase his taxes. Will he call Rush Limbaugh and whine about Kerry’s tax increases? Probably not. What do liberals want?!

There’s more. The caller said he opposed privatizing social security because conservatives want people to “take their chances on the stock market” and lose their security.

Rush gave him a mini-education in bonds and other financial matters, and a history of the ebb and flow of the stock market. But the man was firm: he trusts the government to provide him with a social security check.

I’m no economist, but something tells me that when I’m sixty-five or so, I better have a back-up plan!

No Story Is The Story

What’s the story? If the accusations about Kerry’s infidelity are false, why not sue? I love a good conspiracy, and I say if Kerry doesn’t sue, something’s still up!
