I’m exhausted after that post yesterday. I could’ve kept writing all day. I never run out of words when it comes to people jumping all over black conservatives. Or mangling Scripture.
National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice will testify this morning, beginning at 9:00 a.m. EST in the Hart Senate Office Building. It’s going to be mayhem.
All three major networks will preempt daytime trash TV to cover the hearing live as she testifies about what, if anything, the Bush Administration knew about al Qaeda before September 11.
I knew this whole September 11 investigation was going on, but I hadn’t written anything about it before yesterday. To be honest, I was blocking it out. These liberal types think they’re so smart.
Finally, we’ve got Bush in a corner, they think. They’re salivating over grilling one of his own.
We all know this September 11 investigation is nothing more than a witch hunt. It’s a gadfly in the faces of people who have important jobs to do, on which our national security depends. And they have to be distracted by this nonsense.
Do they really believe the Bush Administration ignored terrorist threats before September 11 and “allowed” the attack to happen? Of course they don’t. Ludicrous.
I’ve been browsing a few nasty liberal sites where Rice is portrayed as a race traitor. That’s so clever and creative! Anyone who jumps off line is betraying some phantom “black cause.” Hypocrites!
Democrats think they’ve got a sacrificial lamb in Rice. It’ll be reminiscent of the Clarence Thomas coverage back in 1991. Only this time it won’t be salacious because there’s no sexual element. Then again, you don’t know what those old boys up on Capitol Hill will come up! How black liberal men could allow the indecent treatment of a black woman by white men is beyond me. Very unmanly.
Democrats will do anything to bring President Bush down — including maligning the character of a hard-working, dedicated patriot who has devoted her life to the pursuit of excellence. And they can’t stand it.
I believe white liberals are intimidated by her level of education and achievement, which debunks the claims that blacks can’t get anywhere without their condescending to lower the bar for us poor black folks.
They certainly have no use for a conservative black except to thrust them into the national spotlight on display. Feminists have no interest in a woman unless she’s rich, white, bored and trying to get into a men-only golf club (See this and this).
Liberals should just be honest and admit their agenda is not about blacks or women or “the poor.” It’s about the propagation of an ungodly worldview by any means necessary. But there’ll be peace in the Middle East before that happens.
It is my prayer that Dr. Condoleezza Rice turns the whole joint out and expose Democrats for the hypocritical, condescending, new Jim Crow legislators they are!
I feel better now. Here’s some coverage that might interest you:
From the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, New York Post and Washington Times.
Check out Linda Chavez’s column, “Condoleezza’s Turn.” Chavez, as you may know, is another “race traitor”: Hispanic and Republican.
Condoleezza Rice faces not just the 9/11 commission this week but the specter of Richard Clarke, the disgruntled former National Security Council terrorism expert who did his best to undermine the credibility of his former boss when he testified before the commission on March 24. The main thrust of Clarke’s testimony was that Rice and the entire Bush team were insufficiently attentive to terrorism as an imminent threat because they were focused on other things, especially Iraq. And the media played right along, parroting Clarke’s criticism with front-page news stories questioning Rice’s pre-9/11 judgment…
While I don’t know whether Rice is a believer, I will pray that she remains steadfast and strong as she walks into a lion’s den. May the Lord be with her.

Loved this column!! I’m a huge Condolezza fan and I agree with everything you wrote. Ms. Rice could run circles around her critics with her intellect and character. No wonder they’re intimidated.
Condolezza for President ‘08
I’m a Filipino immigrant and brand new citizen voter. I’ve always been drawn to Dr. Rice. I love that she’s intelligent and very feminine and classy. I read her autobiography about her upbringing and her early desire to be a concert pianist. Yes, she’s a Christian and proud of it.
