I tried to reply to your email but it kept getting sent back so I thought I’d just post the response here.

Yeah, if your using it’s just a matter of changing your stylesheet. It’s
reallly easy, you just:

1. Click on Templates
2. Click on Stylesheet
3. Scroll down until you see something like this:

.side {
font-family:verdana, arial, sans-serif;
color:#333;
font-size:x-small;
font-weight:normal;
background:#fff;
line-height:140%;
padding:2px;
}

4. Change “font-size” (for example: font-size:x-small; )
5. Click save
6. Click “Rebuild” at the top of the page.
7. Select “Rebuild indexes only”

And that’s it. It should work after that. I use word values for font sizes
(i.e, medium, x-small) and percentages for line-heights (i.e., 140%) rather
than pixels so that it will load according to the users own settings. If they
have smaller monitors and you have font size set by pixel size (e.g., 12pt) it
can be too much for the screen.

If you have any problems, cut and paste your stylesheet into an email and send
it to me. I’ll take a look at it and see if there is anything you might want to
adjust.

I hate to be critical, but I find the orange text on white background a bit difficult to read, and the black text on orange background even more diffiult.

You need to add trackback links to your entries so that people who ping you can be shown from your main page. I’m also glad to see that you’ve gone to the trouble of getting your blog to be XHTML compliant. Standards compliance is very important because it makes writing and maintaining usable pages and tools easier.

For anyone struggling to get a MT blog XHTML 1.0 Transitional compliant, here is a helpful suggestion as to how to make your trackback and comment popup links pass the W3C validator.

La Shawn – your fonts are just fine – easy to read on a screen.

Simple design is just fine (I do some mydelf).

Curly fonts etcc are just hard to read. So are colored backgrounds.
