Four aspects of Moore’s filmmaking that particularly irritate many in the German media are his:

1. Conspicuous omission of key facts.
2. Fast and furious handling of the facts he does choose to address.
3. Tendency to oversimplify.
4. Manipulation of emotions.

The falling-out is so dramatic that SPIEGEL ONLINE has posted two highly critical articles on Moore’s new film in just two days.

To quote a film critic “There is no sign of inner coherence, Moore gives priority to populism over form”

Although Michael Moore has no message, the media ruefully admits the animus is strong enough to drive ticket sales. In effect, the media have only themselves to blame that their antiwar rational has been undermined by MM.

He’s always struck me as being a man without much real moral fibre. When he met with Leonid Brezhnev during his presidency, it was said that he trembled very visibly. Not long after this, he delivered a speech in which he stated that we have no business thinking ill of any country “just because their system differs from ours.” It’s always easier in the short term to side up with the bullies and avoid risk and confrontation, and that seems to be the only way liberals know of to deal with entities which are intimidating to them. And Carter, along with many other liberals, has allied himself with some very strange characters through the years.

Somewhere between the white house and here, he really lost his mind. I heard what he was saying about ditching the baptist church a few years ago, but it ain’t jiving. A modern day Nebuchadnezzar reduced to eating grass with moonbats. Hopefully, he’ll regain his sanity before the end of his days.

Also, the speakers at the Reps’ gathering won’t offer near the amount of ammunition for criticism(except for leftists, who hate the air we breath regardless) as did the Dems with their heavy load of hypocrisy, race baiting, sneering, etc..

Look, the talk-show hosts are gonna do the same number on the Bush bash. Do not triumph now.
