Last evening I was listening to the radio-a conservative man named Shawn something or another. I have never heard such absolute CRAP in my life–the man was RUDE, insulent–he kept interupting his guest-calling him a liar, calling him stupid. Republicans should be ashamed of him–is he ignorant enough to believe his opinion is the ONLY one. I suppose I can be called a liberal Dem because I have manners and I respect others right to verbalize their beliefs and opinion. Bullies and ignorant loud fools simply show how very stupid THEY are……Lynda

I find it interesting that liberals just can’t wait to use the term “negro” (which they think is perjorative) as a put-down when they disagree with someone on the merits.

Way to win an argument: inject race into the discussion.

Is that what we’re supposed to infer from Ms. Garofalo’s snide little remark? That anyone who has the temerity to disagree with her point of view is just an uppity “negro”? Interesting… Freud might view this as an interesting slip of the tongue.

A very good point you make, and it is well taken….it would be demeaning and a waste, however, I must admit I have a hidden agenda:

*Send a message (with a very swift & immediate counterattack)
*Give ‘em a dose of their own medicine

After she & her liberal friend realize what happened, I get to act all wimpy & whiney like I’m REALLY offended just like they do at the little-bittyest stuff.

I’m not in the least bit offended, and have risen far above even the other version of negro. For fun though, I’ll say negro reminded me of the N word and I flipped. Temporary insanity. You feelin me?

Another “one to grow on” is this: They will also learn that spiritual folks are – 98% of the time – quite spiritual. BUT, that does not mean that turning the other cheek is a universal way that conservatives handle their business, though it often seems that way.

I doubt seriously if the Good Lord meant and intended for ANY of us to relinquish self-respect in the face of abuse of any kind. You just gotta smack ‘em back harder sometimes, and the moment will dictate the proper action to take.

Liberals, even after 9/11, don’t seem to get that. And it’s time for me go to my Air America interview with the italian lady.

First and foremost, when a white person uses the term “house negro” about a black person, I simply want to ask them:

So your one of those new and special white folks who are now ready to fight racism and give up your special privileges?

That freezes them right there. Don’t come around me talking that when you obviously have no idea what the REAL “house negros” went through at the hands of people that looked like you. This is not an indinctment of all white people. Only those that think they are “down” since they recited some words to us.
