1)Considering that her father specialized in tropical diseases, I guess she failed miserably to make the connection between natural disasters and diseases. Clothing provides a layer of protection from the filth and infectious pestilence that follows flooding. Cut yourself while traipsing around naked and you’re gonna get infected.
2)Sterilized water can be had simply by boiling. Or was she thinking that the relief agencies should ship containerloads of Perrier?
3)Containerloads of generators for a 3rd world island, where the majority of the population live in shanties and electricity isn’t quite the commodity that we take for granted. Or was she only thinking of her kindred fortunate ones ruined by the storm? Hey Theresa! Who asked you for your admonition?
