I take it that since you’re posting today that you’re okay. Whew! We saw on the news late last night that 27 tornadoes were spotted in the DC area. I’m glad you’re okay.

What is amazing is the producer Mary Mapes spent some four years working on this story only to have to base it on fraudulent memos. Four years on a story and not interviewing Gen. Staudt shows not just journalistic laziness but wanting to produce an attack piece at all costs. Damn the torpedoes and integrity.
Alarm bells should have sounded from the suspected source of these memos and yet they called him an unimpeachable source.
This is a great story for pundits but a miserable day for journalism only fit for moveon.org shrills.
Four years working on a story that even if true was no earth-shattering story.
