Not that I need another reason… or to spell it out… but I will anyway: I am so sick of CBS, NBC, ABC and CNN…
They will call a state for Kerry with only a fraction of the precincts in, and even when the count is 51-49…
Add to that that they only confirm a Bush win when either the lead is big (10% neighborhood) or the state itself has declared a victor…
Look at CA. There was very little doubt that it would go Dem, but they called it the moment the polls closed, and every hour as data came in, they had to revise their figures. It has stabilized at 44% for Bush. That’s 11 points higher than when CBS and CNN called it when the polls closed…
you know, I could deal with not calling a close state… they looked like idiots last time when they called FL early. But if you are going to hold off calling them, hold off calling them all when they are close!
When I left for work at 4am this morning, Rather and Brokaw looked besides themselves… Tim Russert was saying that the Ohio and Florida votes were going for Bush because of ignorant reactionary rednecks. And men who after 9/11 feel they need to get their manhood back, so they vote Bush, even though they know better.

Joshua, I think Condi has what it takes and then some. Certainly more than Moseley-braun as for 1st female black POTUS. Let’s see, the moonbats call Bush a chimp and the Arabs call her a monkey.

Yeah, I think not only strike fear, but big um heap of embarassment that a woman will grind em into the dirt and a black at that. Talk about rage on the Arab street

ABC sez the WH is irritated both with sKerry for conceding and w/the MSM for not calling the Ststes when the math is obvious. Jennings seems to be saying Bush is a crybaby for waiting on the MSM to do the obvious.

CNN is still sitting on their hands. Obviously Bush won’t speak now, so I’m calling it quites. night ya’ll or what’s left of it

From the proud state of Ohio at 4 am Bush has a 140000 vote lead with a disputed 125000 to 200000(closer to 125000) provisional ballots to count. Every political analyst says it’s virtually mathmatically impossible for all those provisional votes would be for Kerry. It’s over. Bush wins Ohio..but the whining liberals will send their lawyers to do the “Something’s not right here” challenge. I implore Kerry and democrats to not further divide our country and gracefully accept defeat. This is not 2000. Bush is well ahead in the popular vote. We gained in the house AND the Senate. I am proud of America..of the Bush and Kerry volunteers. I hope neither one does anything to embarrass our country with futile legal challenges. Rainmaker..

Bush to declare election victory

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Bush will declare re-election victory, aides said Wednesday morning, as Democratic rival John Kerry refused to concede linchpin Ohio or the presidency.

“We will not base our decision on a concession,” said Bush adviser Dan Bartlett. After winning Nevada, another presidential aide said Bush would soon declare victory.
