BushUpdate IV: Instapundit says Kerry to concede, according to CNN and the AP. And Reuters:

Democratic challenger John Kerry called President Bush on Wednesday to concede the election, an aide said.

——–
Come on, troops! You didn’t think John Kerry would take defeat like a man, did you? George Bush is the winner, but we’re not supposed to say so until all the Ohio votes are counted. Shhhhhhh.

Given the way Kerry’s conducted himself during the whole campaign, this is to be expected. He’s an elitist used to getting what he wants. The White House is not within his grasp, but he’s still reaching. Human nature, I suppose.

In that regard, I offer you this somewhat subdued post. No victory dances until Kerry understands that he was decisively defeated last night. While it is highly improbable all the provisional Ohio votes will go for Kerry (as most reasonable people would agree), he’s holding on to a last shred of hope, though dignity left the building a long time ago. Ironically, those votes will probably increase Bush’s lead in the state.

I will hold off on my victory post, which will be humble and non-gloating, when the reality of his defeat is absolutely clear to John “Al Gore” Kerry. But first his lawyers will have to hunt for and/or invent reasons to litigate, and the foreigners on our shores who “monitored” the election will have complaints ready. It could take weeks. Shameful society we live in.

Be of good cheer! After a nice Christmas vacation, our president will return to the White House in January. By the way, the House and Senate are more Republican today than they were this time yesterday.

Interesting Fact: Developing on Drudge — Bush breaks all-time popular vote total, surpassing Ronald Reagan’s. Great Caesar’s ghost!

Thanks for exercising your civic duty, America!

(Thanks for keeping me company last night, too. :D During those tense moments, we generated 620 comments, breaking the debate record of 544.)

Update: For the first time in 140 years, Republicans control the state senate in Tennessee. (Hat tip: Instapundit)

Voters in 11 states overwhelmingly reject homosexual “marriage.” (Source) The majority of Americans will never support this. That is why liberals must rely on judicial fiat to get what they want. See Roe v. Wade for proof.

Michelle Malkin has a list of winners and losers. Vodkapundit: “Bush has obviously won the popular vote. If he was ’selected not elected’ in 2000, then why on Earth would the Dems want to try to put Kerry in via lawsuits in 2004?”

WorldNetDaily: “The president won Florida comfortably yesterday…”

See Townhall.com’s map. Also see the brutally honest caricature of Kerry over at Rick’s.

We bloggers are obsessed! With four states too close to call, Backcountry Conservative is live-blogging the morning-after-the-election.

Update II: I’m getting a lot of Google hits on this gag Kerry concession speech.

Update III: Now it’s time to reconfigure that Supreme Court and get some real conservatives on the bench!

About Kerry’s conceding, Drudge says: “Gamesmanship. Bush team floated 10:30 am to push Kerry, but Kerry camp said, ‘Sit tight. We’re talking concession.’ Bushies then relented, naming noon to keep pressure on. That’s where other scenario: If Kerry says, again, ‘Sit tight,’ Bush expected to go. If he says, ‘I’m going at 2,’ Bush will hold…”

“Shameful society we live in.”
Actually, it’s those without shame who make it difficult.
The rest of us will let the shameless knock themselves out.

Dominic 11.03.04 at 6:54 am

Good morning,

LaShawn, it was some kind of night wasn’t it? To be honest, I was on pins and needles all night. Until Fox called Ohio for Bush, I was very nervous. I do understand that sKerry hasn’t conceded yet, but that’ll happen.

I got to get some sleep.

SCSIwuzzy 11.03.04 at 7:00 am

Well, Edwards has said they will challenge the votes in Ohio. that doesn’t sound like someone who thinks the vote could still swing their way.
I know the link will sit inthe filter for a while, but this was interesting: Fox tossed out the exit polls as they began to face reality.
This might explain the other outlets unwilling ness to call states for Bush, since the exit pollsters were at odds with the numbers coming in from the precincts.

I was nervous, too, Dominic, but having my readers around made it easier.

Dee 11.03.04 at 7:09 am

Thank you La Shawn. Have a great day. :-)

La Shawn 11.03.04 at 7:17 am

Thanks, Dee! Don’t fall asleep at your desk…

sergeantjones 11.03.04 at 7:20 am

Good Morning, VIET..oh sorry that’s a movie. Good morning, La Shawn thank you for a terrific blog. This is another great morning, I am blessed in the Lord. He heard my cry and I am thankful. I look forward to the days of celebration from a man who stood for something, and overcame much persecution. Perserverance is a sign of character. Thank God for the Victory. I know a lot of Dems will be extremely angry, but may the Lord deliver them from their hatred of a fellow believer. Bush got my vote because of his character, and family heritage. I look at the teachings he’s received from his father and grandfather as the way to his success. Many black men can’t see this as an example to live by, teach your sons how to be successful and they will bring a generation of success to your name that’s given by God. I’m impressed. These are the things I looked at and why I chose this president. FAMILY AFFAIR. That’s what its all about. My inheritance is in the Lord, he’s my biggest example.

WOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Good morning La Shawn,

I keep waking up and checking your site for updates.

God bless and have a wonderful day.

Beau 11.03.04 at 7:29 am

Thank……You……Jesus!!

And You, The Father, right along with the Holy Spirit – please do have a nice day.

Beau 11.03.04 at 7:30 am

Oh, last but not least, God Bless America.

Doug 11.03.04 at 7:32 am

What we have here are cases where the Dems are trying to create discord to further their political cause at the expense of the Constitution. This has become their stock in trade, after all. If they cannot seize power within law or society, they try to create issues to bring before a judge, just like marriage.

Bush won the popular vote. Bush won Iowa and New Mexico, which are not conceded (according to CBSnews.com, I may add). Bush won Ohio so convincingly that the Democrats can only hurt their reputation for another four years.

They blame Bush of being power mad, and yet it is they who writhe with angst at the thought of any less power than complete power. The Dems are playing the role of “spoiler” because they are unable to play the role of “victor” and any intelligent voter can see the difference.

La Shawn 11.03.04 at 7:40 am

You know what? I want them to count the provisional ballots in Ohio…so we can see Bush’s margin of victory increase.

Hey Beau, hey Josh, hey Mr. Jones!

Jim R 11.03.04 at 7:43 am

P Diddy demanded the young Vote or Die. They chose the latter, bless their little sweet hearts. Let’s hope none
follow through. :-)

William Meisheid 11.03.04 at 7:44 am

Every major democrat (especially Gore and Hillary) cried for the last four years that Bush was illegitimate because Al Gore won the popular vote (with less than 50% by the way). Well this year Bush wins the popular vote with more than 50% and by over 3 million votes. Will those same Democrats now tell John Kerry to concede, based on their former rhetoric. That alone will tell you about the Democratic Party’s current state.

Renee 11.03.04 at 7:51 am

What I love the most is how “surprised” the media was (especially watching MSNBC with Reagan Jr, Matthews, Scarborough et., al). Only Scarborough was not suprised by the majority of voters who were newly registered saying moral issues were more important than the economy (money). Ronald Reagan Jr. (just like the other elitist in Hollywood) are totally dumbfounded by this concept. I think some of the words he used were “How could we pick morals over money”…

Some people just don’t get it and never will.

sistersophist 11.03.04 at 7:52 am

I wish I could have kept you company, LaShawn, but I was blogging myself and was too busy eating bite sized candy bars. I have some serious recovery work to do on my diet. Nothing like a close election to push a person over the edge.

Jim R 11.03.04 at 7:55 am

Oh…morning La Shawn and thanks for everything. Great blog!

Renee 11.03.04 at 7:56 am

Morning LaShawn:)

No traffic getting to work this morning (a lot of NVa must have stayed up late like me).

Bec 11.03.04 at 8:00 am

What a beautiful morning.

Jeffery Blanco 11.03.04 at 8:00 am

La Shawn, I am glad that Bush won! Now, let’s move on, with or with out the liberals.

sharon 11.03.04 at 8:02 am

Check out the Democratic Underground site. They are claiming that the Kerry/Edwards ticket should win since the … get this…the EXIT POLLS predicted them the winners. They say the EXIT POLLS are always correct. The exit polls – come on people give it up – they are exit polls NOT VOTES.

LB – Can we put a stop to the smiley faces today on your site? They just seem to always remind me of the little John Edwards …smiles all the time…looks goofey…can’t trust that man! hahaha

William Meisheid 11.03.04 at 8:05 am

Oh, and to Mr. Daschle I sing the song from Steam from the Remember the Titans soundtrack:

So kiss him (I wanna see you kiss him.
I wanna see you kiss him)
Go on and kiss him goodbye, na-na na-na-na na na
Na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye

Renee 11.03.04 at 8:06 am

They were just commenting on Fox news about Soros (said he should be looking at monastaries about now).

Based on the amount of money he, P. Diddy, MoveOn.org, Hollywood and crew spent to defeat Bush…

Ask yourself this:

1. How many people could that money have bought health insurance for?
2. How many jobs could they have created instead, to help out their fellow human being?
3. How many reading programs could they have setup in areas where the schools are extrememly lack lustre, to help children stay engaged with their education?

That has always boggled my mind.

Beau 11.03.04 at 8:18 am

Good morning, Lashawn. Fine day to be an American.

Just a general question for everyone, in the hope that we can actually get something accomplished in the next 4 years – after a day or 2 of celebration, bordering on merciless gloating.

Two-term President Bush doesn’t know Monica Lewinsky, does he? That would NOT be good.

On 2nd thought, I take that question back; please disregard. In my confusion I forgot that GW does have significantly more morals than an alley-cat, not to mention a great wife to whom he’s committed.

Adios, Bloggies. Please forgive me for my ignorance.

Robin S. 11.03.04 at 8:20 am

Sorry I wasn’t with y’all during the stressful times last night. When it came down to it, I withdrew to my room, prayed for both the election and my peace of mind, and then abandoned politics (mostly) for the rest of the evening.

I hope the Democrats can figure out what to do with themselves, now that they can’t feasibly consider Bush an “illegitimate” President. (If Kerry had won the election but lost the popular vote, do you think they would’ve been as hard on him?

SCSIwuzzy 11.03.04 at 8:20 am

Renee,
Great point. Soros alone has spent so many millions to defeat Bush…

SCSIwuzzy 11.03.04 at 8:21 am

Beau,
Yeah, I agree. I can’t imagine sneaking out when you have Laura next to you.
Hillary… that I could understand. :)

Montie 11.03.04 at 8:21 am

Good Morning La Shawn!

What a night. I was working my part-time job last night (don’t all cops work extra jobs?), and had to listen to the returns on the radio. I was a nervous wreck by the time I got off though it looked like it was in the bag.

Not only has Bush undoubtedly won the election but the house has remained solidly in the Republican camp, and the Senate has increased the Republican majority, with the added bonus of no more Tom Daschle as minority leader!

In typical liberal hypocritical fashion, Kerry has reversed what he said before the election about it not being right that the minority of the popular vote should win the Presidency based on the Electoral College. He is going to try to contest Ohio (and probably other States) in order to try to win enough Electoral Votes in spite of Bush’s commanding lead in the popular vote. Of course, it’s pretty obvious that he’s just wasting our time.

In Oklahoma, the Republicans have won big across the State. We have retained a Republican in the Senate seat opened by one of our Senators retiring, and retained the Republicans in our house seats that were up for election. At the State level, Republicans now hold a majority in the State House for the first time since 1923!

Dave in AZ 11.03.04 at 8:35 am

Well said sergeantjones,
I’m baffled (not the first time); will somebody please explain to me how does treasonist Kerry win the state that took the direct hit on 9/11 (worse than Pearl Harbor)?
California I understand, that’s where Hollywood is.
And when I saw the D.C. numbers, wow, how does one keep their sanity living there ? La Shawn, I feel for you girl.
Maybe I’m too isolated out here in AZ, McCain/Goldwater country.

Cindy Swanson 11.03.04 at 8:40 am

Morning, LaShawn! Your blog is a breath of fresh air helping me wake up this morning. I’m still not doing a victory dance, either…I won’t breathe easy until Kerry concedes. I’m praying this won’t drag out forever!

SCSIwuzzy 11.03.04 at 8:41 am

From Poland and Thailand:
“Terrorism has to be rejected in today’s world and in this respect George Bush is a very decisive leader who is right, simply right,” said Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski. “From Poland’s perspective continued cooperation with George Bush is really good news.”

Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said: “I think he (Bush) has had a lot of information on how to deal with global security. I think many things will improve after the elections.”

La Shawn 11.03.04 at 8:50 am

Today is bittersweet. Bush won the election but can’t declare victory until Kerry stops crying. As I said, it could take weeks.

maria horvath 11.03.04 at 9:09 am

Good morning, La Shawn.

What a great day in the neighborhood!

I will let the poet Czeslaw Milosz express what I feel:

HOPE

Hope is with you when you believe
The earth is not a dream but living flesh,
That sight, touch, and hearing do not lie,
That all things you have ever seen here
Are like a garden looked at from a gate.

You cannot enter. But you’re sure it’s there.
Could we but look more clearly and wisely
We might discover somewhere in the garden
A strange new flower and an unnamed star.

Beau 11.03.04 at 9:16 am

You ain’t lyin, Wuzzy, except I’d feel compelled to be sneakin out on Laura……to go get her flowers, diamonds, big giant 5′ x 4′ Hallmark Cards, providing her her own private room service breakfast-lunch-and dinner, doin all the chores, grocery shopping, takin out the trash – whatever The Lady Of The House wants, she gets!!

Hey, wives need proper care & feeding too, ay?

John C James III 11.03.04 at 9:16 am

This morning on CBS or ABC (I forget which) the black reporter looked and sounded like he wanted to cry when he was interviewing the Ohio Republican Leader infront of the State Board of Elections! It was most funny! The reporter was seriouly fishing for any ray of hope as if to say ‘there’s just GOT to be a way!’

John C James III 11.03.04 at 9:18 am

Hey lets keep our eyes open for the mass exodus from this country!!

Gives new meaning to the term ‘Blue State’!

Jon 11.03.04 at 9:23 am

It seems God has given us some extra treats this year. Not only another sweep of Congress and the White House, etc. etc. but he left just enough scraps on the floor for us to watch the two leading Democrats in the country destroy their own future by trying to lawyer their way into the White House. Hillary must have prayed very hard last night, because with a dignified concession both Kerry and Edwards would have been in a very strong position to run a second time.

Rose 11.03.04 at 9:28 am

God is always good….no matter what happens in an election. I praise Him today because ALL the initiatives banning same sex marriage PASSED. All 11 of them. We live in Oregon…..and it was close….but in the end….our measure 36, keeping marriage between a man and a woman passed! Awesome!

Cindy Swanson 11.03.04 at 9:28 am

AP is now reporting that Kerry advisers are considering his options–”including the possibility of a concession speech.” A top Kerry adviser is quoted as saying Kerry’s chances of winning Ohio are “difficult at best.” AP says Kerry’s brain-trust met first thing this morning, and they plan at least one other meeting before taking their recommendations to Kerry.

salt1907 11.03.04 at 9:30 am

I agree that all of this is great news, but remember that the Dems’ have nearly wrecked this country’s election process and they will not stop until they succeed. Click on my name to see how we can prevent a repeat of this ugly campaign next time and how we can avoid having the “selected, not elected” slogan drilled into our heads for another four years.

Montie 11.03.04 at 9:30 am

The Democrats are simply stunned that their “get out the vote” push got out the wrong kind of votes! Contrary to what Hollywood would have you believe, many young people are quite conservative. I have asked a number of young people how they voted and have almost unanimously been told, Bush! The popular vote count certainly seems to have borne this out.

There is also some speculation about the way the Black vote went. The consensus seems to be that Bush may have taken a larger percentage of Black voters than was anticipated. Perhaps many Black Americans are starting to realize that the Democrat party platform is not as socially advantageous to Blacks as Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the NAACP would have them believe.

Dominic 11.03.04 at 9:35 am

LaShawn,

You told someone else not to fall asleep at their desk; I am completely wornout! I stayed up til 2:00am and I will be worthless this morning. I have a loan closing tonight at 7:00pm and until than I am going to close my office door and fall asleep(maybe).

It has been a wonderful night. Pins and needles for most of the evening. Demorat political strategist Susan Etheridge had me worried when she was on Fox News at about 9:00-10:00pm, she gave the ole,”i have sources who are very pleased with what voters are still in line in Ohio. So things look good for us.” Later realized that it was a bunch of “bunk”. Bush actally hit Kerry over the head in Ohio.

Kerry would have to get like 88-90% of the 175,000 or so provisional ballots to win. That mean that he would have to have 158000 of the 175000 go his way. Just give it up sKeryy, ball game over! Bush Wins! Bush Wins!

WayneB 11.03.04 at 9:39 am

Well, if Kerry won’t concede, and we’re pretty sure he won’t, then we won’t know for about 2 weeks. In Ohio, the provisional ballots won’t be counted until at least Nov. 13th.

AWG 11.03.04 at 9:50 am

I’m not surprised at all that the Johns are going down kicking and screaming. Those two are like school in summertime… NO CLASS!!!

Renee 11.03.04 at 9:58 am

Montie,
There was also a MAJOR mobilization of the “born-again” Christians (as was quoted on the news last night). Especially in OH and some of the other swing states. The Sec of State for OH said a lot of the new registered voter drives were churches (which he said was going to surprise people).

I think it happened all across the country and well..
that explains why Hollywood and others don’t understand it.

I am luvin’ it.

Andy 11.03.04 at 10:07 am

La Shawn, thanks for letting me track CNN’s blow by blow.

I’m already back at work, hope I don’t nod off. Oh boy, it’s gonna be a long day. But maybe the conservtive/moderate Dems can kick McAuliffe out and regain control. That’s the message they should take from the election and the way DMA blew them out of the water. Heh

Do we need to say more?

RandyK 11.03.04 at 10:08 am

Excellent, excellent comments. I enjoy reading your blog and snarkbait.com.

Thanks for the time and effort you put into this.

firebird 11.03.04 at 10:12 am

Edwards is a lawyer and the democrats are always choosing some one in that gern and the democrats are favored by lawyers and we dont want another mess like in 2000 and they should just concede and admit they lost

sergeantjones 11.03.04 at 10:22 am

Observation: The Dems offered a lot of free stuff; concerts, and rallies, i.e. and those same folks who came and partied didn’t show at the polls. The Dems had’nt figured it out yet, most people who something for nothing can’t be depended on. Free concerts only set up a sleep in. Now they’re disappointed, and those who did show up figured it out to go for those who work for a living. My sister called and said Rod Parsley led the get out the vote for Ohio, and the evangelicals showed up. So again and again God showed up again. No same sex marriages will corrupt the righteous. Morals and not Money is the way to go. We must now spend time educating the next generation. My son says he’s voting Republican when his time comes. He enjoyed the election, and glad GW won.

J. White- I thought the concession speech was hilarious!!

Chiilin’ 8)

WayneB 11.03.04 at 10:34 am

Oh, over at Democratic Underground, they are decrying the people who voted for Bush for “Morality” reasons, especially the 10-20% black voters who went over to him this time. Comments like “I knew the bubbas were stupid, but I didnt think my own people would be so stupid”.

LawWife 11.03.04 at 10:36 am

Not all lawyers… :) My husband works in a conservative Christian firm. Shockingly, even the litigator in that firm hasn’t received a call to “help” Mr. Kerry.

Praying for a concession soon. George Stephanopoulos (pardon my spelling if it’s wrong) said he really has no choice, and we all know Stephie is a Dem operative.

Rainmaker 11.03.04 at 10:37 am

Good Morning LaShawn..
Life is good..and the check’s in the mail..Seriously..honest..no kidding..I mean it..hee hee.
Lessons learned: Do away with exit polling. They simply don’t work. So much for Rock the vote. Michael Moore is moot..The Boss..P Diddy and the rest are moot. The democrats have lost touch with the core values of this nation. And God bless all the posters on your blog for their civil and deep patriotism. Rainmaker..

J. White, where’s the “concession” speech?

Andy 11.03.04 at 10:47 am

Lawwife, well you know cHillary wants sKerry to get over it so she can start planning for 08. If sKerry makes it ugly, it will further damage the Dems for being the truly sorelosing moonbats that they are.

WayneB, yup, the DU is really going nuts. One comment said that did it, he was going to join AQ and start attacking the Red States. Know what, I believe some of them really will do that. Others are agitating for a new civil war to force the Southern States to secede from the Union — MOONBATS!!

Carl 11.03.04 at 10:52 am

Renee, I’ve thought the same thing as what you said. All that money wasted, why didn’t Soros et al put it to good use, I’ll never know. Hey, that’s not true, I do know. These people can’t help themselves, they have an insatiable desire to feed their egos, and can’t handle someone who doesn’t care about them. The longer K/E whine and try and twist in the wind, the better it is, as it brings down the whole lot of them, and shows what a bunch of sleazy hypocrites that they really are.

John C James III 11.03.04 at 10:54 am

Andy – LOL Did they take a look at the Red states verses the Blue state map? A N D you gotta figure the Blues don’t own guns (for the most part) and the Reds DO and just maybe they know how to use them! LOL!!

Elizabeth B 11.03.04 at 11:03 am

Montie-

Congrats! My home state of Washington was not so fortunate, although I helped drive up the popular vote. We currently live in Alabama, a nice conservative Bible Belt state even if a bit poor.

The victory in Oklahoma was also a big vicotry for reading education. The Oklahoma Republican party has a pro-phonics plank in their platform, the only state that I know of that does.

(Of course, the Bush victory is also a victory for education. They’ve put in money for phonics and testing with NCLB and now can continue their reform–they’re doing a review of the schools of education now. Hopefully the beginning of the end of new math and whole word teaching of reading.)

Joel Thomas 11.03.04 at 11:04 am

La Shawn,

There is something to be said about being a gracious loser, but also about being a humble and gracious winner. What we have from you is just a tad snotty. Celebrate your victory! Be glad in it! But don’t use it as a “holier than thou moment.” That just sort of looks tacky.

I think it is likely Kerry will concede soon. But I think he has an obligation to his supporters that he did all he could to pull out a victory.

Well, I dunno where Jackson, Sharpton, Tavis Smiley & Charlie Rangel are, but I can guarantee they aren’t at home dancin around their underwear like we are…….for the last 8 hours. What, speak for myself? Right, right.

Anwway, I hope they all caught a plane to Europe or the Middle East to go kick it with their terrorist & terrorist appeaser friends. And take Susan Estridge, too.

Speaking of vacations, think I’ll call in sick today & start happy hour about 2 days, 6 hours early……….I’m thirsty anyway.

Well they’re debating about what happened to the youth vote. Look they didn’t have a stake in it, for real. Who in their right mind at age 18-25 would give up a free concert of their favorite band or singer. Please I would’ve told you anything to see Patti, Kool, and Freddie, back in the day for free. How about the Pizza commercial FEED ME!

LawWife 11.03.04 at 11:52 am

Andy, I’m ready to move on to the ‘08 race. Wonder what the RNC would think of George Allen, former governor of and current U.S. senator for the great state of VA….

Hooray for concession!

John C James III 11.03.04 at 11:54 am

Who said that the youth would vote for Dems?

John “Crybaby” Kerry finally threw in the towel. His behavior was disgraceful and repugnant. However, Bush showed real class by letting him exit with a trace of dignity. I would have pounded him.

Cindy Swanson 11.03.04 at 11:59 am

I can’t remember where I saw the headline today about the youth vote not materializing, but it made me grin: “Vote, Die, or…Whatever!” :)

mjslady 11.03.04 at 12:12 pm

I remember that vote or die commercial. I could not beleive anyone would say that. Course I didn’t know who he was either, neither did my boys…
At least the best, most honorable man won!
WoooooooooooHoooooooooooooo

LawWife 11.03.04 at 12:18 pm

Am I still considered part of the “youth” vote @ nearly 26?

John C James III 11.03.04 at 12:23 pm

LawWife – See what I mean! Who says Youths vote mainly Dem? ;)

Andy 11.03.04 at 12:42 pm

John, I don’t remember where the “moonbat” term came from, but it’s the term for the hippy, wild-eyed tree-hugging ueberliberals. Quite apt if you ask me.

LawWife, my money is on Condi for 08.

Still waiting on the numbers on the black vote. I wagered 13% on a semi poll that Le Shawan had back in early summer, about the time Coz was rocking the black elites’ world. Wonder if I have to eat my hat? 8D

More so than sKerry as POTUS, I’m relieved that Tur-ray-sah won’t be 1st lady and that McAuliffe will be looking for a new job. What? You don’t expect him to stay in control after calling Bush AWOl and dismissing DMA?

GO-O-O-O BUSH!!!!

SCSIwuzzy 11.03.04 at 1:43 pm

Ah, so Beau isn’t a pajama-blogger… he is a boxer-blogger, or pehaps a banana-hammock-blogger… but I guess I am relieved to know he is not a commando-blogger.

Beau 11.03.04 at 2:49 pm

Yes!! The black vote….I’m dyin to see what the #s are. If it could only be as high as what Dave Bositis (sp.) estimated it as, close to 20%.

That would have The Prez continuing a full court press on all that he’s done – the new homeowner efforts, small business friendly tax stuff, etc. – and Dems wonderin “What the heck to do we do now that those blacks are catching on to their own ability to succeed without us? AHHHHHH! What to do, Mother Hillary!!???”

What’s next, get 30-40% on up? Liberals had better do some soul searching, then again, if they ever mature & do that – they won’t be liberal anymore. As Churchill said: If you’re 20 & you’re not liberal, ya got no heart; and if you’re 40 & you’re not conservative, ya gots no brain, homey.

Can you R.I.P, liberalism?

——

Now, WUZZY, if I know commando to mean what I know commmando to mean…….I’m not even touchin that one; nnnnno. Not today.

Let Freedom Reign – das all I’m sayin, bruh. I like bloggin in comfort…….something like that.

DarkStar 11.03.04 at 9:17 pm

La Shawn,

That last comment was in response to the “What is a moonbat?” question up there somewhere…
