I’d say whatever liberalism the times has probably ends in the newsroom, and doesnn’t make it to the factory floor. They are a profit seeking corporation.

LaShawn – I think you point out the problem right off the bat – Liberals are obsessed with promoting themselves as embracing tolerance and diversity, but their actions (or lack of) often tell a different story. Hope these guys win.

It shouldn’t make a difference whether it’s by printing plant employees or by those in the newsroom. The New York Times is a big corporation. If they are “committed to diversity”, it’s not a true commitment if they only practice it in the newsroom. Furthermore, as Michelle Malkin points out in her blog, “The Times management has denied the allegations.”

I’ll bet some people are going to be confusing the editorial and business departments. Something tells me the business / printing department is run just like any other factory in this country.

Is this another crack in the foundation of the Old Media? It seems so. First Lying Dan’s memos, then the fake “Iraq explosives” story during the election, now this.

Much as fallen people want to deny human nature and claim that they are better, more tolerant, more diverse than other people, their deep-seated envies, jealousies, hatreds, scorns, and condescensions come out, don’t they? Liberals think they’re better people, but they are still in desperate need of redemption–like us all.
