Announcement:

“The Luce Policy Institute has published the first calendar highlighting conservative women — the 2005 Great American Conservative Women Calendar. Women featured in the calendar include Ann Coulter, Dr. Condoleezza Rice, Phyllis Schlafly, Michelle Malkin, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, Dr. Jeane Kirkpatrick and other conservative women leaders. Each month has wonderful pictures (many from CWN events!) and a thought-provoking quote. The calendar is available through our website, www.cblpolicyinstitute.org, for a $25 or more tax-deductible online contribution.

Dr. Laura told us, ‘It is an honor for me to be included in the 2005 Great American Conservative Women Calendar. To be highlighted among women who feel and believe that it is within the context of traditional values that a woman enjoys the most respect, opportunities, and happiness possible.’

In the spirit of Christmas, all of those attending the December Conservative Women’s Network lunch tomorrow (12/17) will receive a free calendar. We look forward to seeing you there!”

By the way, blame the light blogging on this flu-like thing I’m suffering from. Recovering, though. :)

That calendar will be on my wish list this Christmas. Do get well soon! :)

Do get well soon! In the meantime, try to get plenty of rest. God bless you.

I had that flu-ish thing last week and the weekend. Get well, and get rest, in what ever order it takes. Theraflu rocks, as does breath right tea :)

I again want to point out that with the exception of foreign policy, Dr. Condoleeza Rice is not very conservative… she is pro-choice, pro-gay-rights, pro-affirm-action. I mention this because these issues are used to demonize progressives as being evidence that one cannot be Christian and liberal… well, if that is the case, then conservatives should own up to the fact that they don’t seem to hold everyone to the same standard.

By the way, the Democrats in the Senate chose Nevada senator Harry Reid to be the Minority Leader… the highest ranking Democrat in the Senate… he is pro-life.

Finally… though we disagree on just about EVERYTHING, I hope you get well soon in time to fully enjoy the holidays with your family.

I think I’ll get one of those calendars for the wife. Hope you’re feeling better soon.

I’m so glad they included Phyllis Schlafly. I remember reading her bio, Sweetheart of the Silent Majority, when I was still a teen. She is an amazing woman.
