You are a formidable woman, and I thank you for all the hard work and careful analysis and most of all for the ironclad principles and consistency. I get mentally lazy from time to time, and I come to your blog to be reminded that I am a Christian and I should be working and thinking and reading and studying and helping as if this was my last day. Less TV, more LaShawn, that’s my new years resolution.

We are always harder on ourselves than we would ever allow another person to be hard on us. Just try this: Look in the mirror and explain to God why it is okay for Him to forgive you, but you feel He did not cover everything so you must continue the punishment. Explain why His sacrifice was insufficeint. This helps me, because I have the same problem. It is not a put down. Trust me. It works.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I praise You for Your Son, Your Love, Mercy, Justice, and Grace. Please hear LaShawn’s and my prayers for Janelle. Grant her patience as You work on her loved one. Grant her Your Peace as written in Phil 4:4-6. Grant her Your healing. May there be a time when medication is no longer needed, and if this is not in her best interest, grant her Your strength to accept this fact. Love her, hold her close to Your heart. As to her loved one, You know Your plans for this person. Please bless them both. Lord, I pray, bless everyone who comes to this site and who seeks Your face. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
