I just heard on 630 AM WMAL that Michael Jackson, suffering from the flu, we’re told, is staying on the same floor as the Pediatrics Unit! Do you seen the absurd irony? A man on trial for molesting children is on the same floor…as children. Good grief.

Update: I just got off the telephone with WMAL anchor Michelle Basch, who confirms that Jackson is staying on the same floor as the Pediatrics Unit. He’s supposedly there because it’s the most isolated area at Marian Medical Center. Oh, the irony is disgusting!
I think he should be locked in his room for the duration.
Update II (11:15 a.m.): I called Michelle Basch to reconfirm. She said the report is an ABC Exclusive paraphrased this way: “ABC has learned that Michael Jackson is staying on the same floor as the Pediatrics ward…”
