I just heard on 630 AM WMAL that Michael Jackson, suffering from the flu, we’re told, is staying on the same floor as the Pediatrics Unit! Do you seen the absurd irony? A man on trial for molesting children is on the same floor…as children. Good grief.

Update: I just got off the telephone with WMAL anchor Michelle Basch, who confirms that Jackson is staying on the same floor as the Pediatrics Unit. He’s supposedly there because it’s the most isolated area at Marian Medical Center. Oh, the irony is disgusting!
I think he should be locked in his room for the duration.
Update II (11:15 a.m.): I called Michelle Basch to reconfirm. She said the report is an ABC Exclusive paraphrased this way: “ABC has learned that Michael Jackson is staying on the same floor as the Pediatrics ward…”
Gee I hope not! What a sad and bizarre TV movie this will be.

On the eve of Eason’s resignation, I went and registered on CNN to recieve breaking news of anything on the keyword “Eason”.
To date I received nada on the requested subject, however that didn’t stop CNN from sending me my first & only breaking news the other day on Wacko being admitted to the hospital for the flu. Did I ask for that? Then again, maybe their search filter tagged “reason. hmmm.
