Why is this chick flashing that thing in my face when I’m trying to prepare for my very important radio show…”
Go to Al Franken’s blog and see him embrace G. Gordon Liddy! Also see Kevin’s photo.
Check out fellow CPAC blogger James Joyner of Outside the Beltway.
Update (3:48 p.m.): I just met Daniel J. Flynn, author of Intellectual Morons. I blogged about Mike S. Adams’s review of his book last year. He actually reads my blog. Too cool. Actually, anybody who reads my blog is cool.
Update II (4:16 p.m.): Caption Al Franken’s photo!

Yes,
It seems Al and G. have (oddly) been friends for some time. I remember a few years back Franken had a pretty funny TV show called Lateline which skewered the newsroom environment. Liddy provided a hilarious guest-starring role by (I believe) helping Al break into his kid’s high school to change his grades. Of course, this was a play on Watergate and Liddy seems to like to poke fun of his past.
Lateline is available on DVD. It’s a pretty satirical show. I’ve got conservative and liberal friends who find it pretty funny. There are only 19 episodes so it’s not too much to watch.

Yes…No matter what you think of Franken’s politics, “Lateline” was a very, very funny show. The episode where Franken impersonates Henry Kissinger was four stars.
