This might be all in my head, but Al Franken turns his head whenever he spots me and my digital camera. I tried to snap his picture, but he turned his head. I caught him in this photo. Am I trying to irritate him? No! I remember Franken fondly from my long-ago Saturday Night Live-watching days.

Update (1:57 p.m.): Interesting topic. Token liberal Chris Nolan comments that blacks are quite scarce at CPAC. True. Perhaps the black Republicans are too busy running their small businesses.
