That’s it for me. I can leave right now and skip tonight’s banquet with Zell Miller. CPAC is done. I’ve accomplished all I’ve wanted to accomplish.
When Michelle Malkin first walked into the book signing area with her beautiful daughter, I walked up to her, and she said, “Hi, La Shawn!” And she hugged me.
Then I saw her little boy (adorable) and met her very nice husband, who also reads my blog. Anyway, so Michelle signed my book and…I don’t remember what happened after that.
Update (2/19): Read what Kevin has to say about Michelle.

Very jealous.
I’m glad you are having such a great time!

Oh yeah, tell Michelle that a good “hot tottie” would take away those chills and aches.

Congratulations on meeting her! You’ve certainly given her a lot of space on this blog.

Very cool La Shawn! Don’t worry about the memory lapse, you guys look great.
It’s a wonderful thing when you get to meet someone that you respect. I experienced the same thing this week getting to have brunch with Mark Tapscott of Tapscott’s Copy Desk.
Would love to chat with Michelle someday, her writing is edgy and super relevant, and my wife loves it when she’s on the talking-head shows taking no prisoners!

More CPAC blogging
LaShawn Barber is blogging CPAC (see here, here, here and …. heck, just go here and keep scrolling). Also, don’t forget our buddy Erick over at Redstate. He’s liveblogging the event.

MEETING MALKIN
My CPAC day two ended on a high note–I got to gush like an idiot fanboy. A whole bunch of us bloggers–LaShawn, Matt and Wes Roth–waited for Michelle Malkin’s book signing this afternoon. I could have waited for Zell Miller,…

Wow! A photo of the blogosphere’s Dynamic Duo.
I wish that Michelle would update her website with a newer photo of her. Her current hairstyle looks great on her.

Conservatives have the best of everything.
Let the liberals have Mikulski, Hillary, Boxer, Maxine Waters, etc. The defects in their personalities are only exceeded by the defects in their appearance. Gag a maggot!
LaShawn, Michelle, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham. Smart, Happy, Beautiful!!
Young People, the Conservative Movement is beckoning…

WOW! Just wow! That is totally awesome. I’m both jealous and thrilled for you.
I hope you didn’t skip Zell Miller though. I’d love to shake the man’s hand and thank him for the speech that he made at the RNC convention. Since I can’t be there, and don’t have your clout (LOL), I hope you got the opportunity.
Congratulations!

Thanks, little darlin’, for taking us there. You are totally awesome, of course, and you make it all come alive for us out here in the boonies.
Comment by Sissy Willis — 02.19.05 @ 8:11 am
LOL! I totally concur with Joe S. above. I once blogged that Michelle Malkin is the most attractive blogger out there today. La Shawn certainly gives her a run for her money, however!
Couple that with their incredible intellects and writing skills — WHOA!
