Ron:

How did someone raised by Ron and Nancy come out such a slim ball. I can't get a handle on how you could think the way you do. Go back to tinkle toes dancing - the world will be a better place.

LaShawn,
I would like to add to the 160+ comments; you did a very good job on the show. You were poised, articulate and intelligent. I hope you get to appear more often.

Great job Lashawn. You represented yourself well. I thought it was also rather savvy of you to mention that you are a Christian Conservative. It was odd to me that neither commentator said anything about the leanings of either of your columns.

It is funny how they never describe what a blog is. I think to them it is a place for people with fringe ideas to rant on about the great deeds of Timothy McVeigh. Anyone who hasn't had the chance to surf the Blogosphere (yes, condecending little Ron, that is the right term to use) would think that bloggers are all nuts.

Well you (and Robin) showed 'em!

Get someone to pass your name and credentials to every cable and MSM outlet available. We have to give them options or their audiences will never see anyone but Wonkette, who is popping up everywere.

I loved the pandering 'isn't it hard for women' PC line that both Robin Burk and La Shawn Barber tossed back into their faces with sharp commentary.

Bloggers... not "women"-bloggers... just great bloggers.

Way to lead!

Wow, La Shawn, that was OUTSTANDING! You did a terrific job...you didn't seem a bit nervous, you articulated your thoughts clearly and smoothly, you looked serene and lovely and knowledgeable. You did yourself and all women bloggers proud!

I can't wait until you run for political office. It's going to feel great stepping away from the booth after casting my vote for you. :-)

I didn't see it, but what's perfectly clear to me is that it's time for you to get an agent.

The media will milk you as long as they can without paying. Writers should never allow that.

Your 15 minutes of air time earned them as much as $250,000 in ad revenue. That's a lot.

Don't know if the screen actor's guild covers commentators, but if it does the appearance fees have an automatic minium, which I'm assuming you didn't get -- but the other commentators might have got.

Black Bloggers Assn. would like to sign-up all black bloggers so that they get paid. You may want to consider supporting our efforts.
