Update (4/4): There’s an open seat on the Watcher’s Council. What is that, you ask? Go check it out. The Council is also accepting post submissions for the week.
———————————————————————————————————————————–
If you’re a new blogger seeking wider exposure for your work, consider participating in one or all of the blog showcases. Each week bloggers take turns hosting the carnivals. In less busy days, I used to submit posts to the Christian Carnival and Carnival of the Vanities.
- Christian Carnival – Submit your best Christian-themed post of the week.
- Carnival of the Vanities – Submit your best post of the week regardless of the subject.
- The Carnival of Education – Submit your best education-themed post of the week.
- Blog Mela – Submit your best Indian-themed post of the week? Not familiar with this one.
- Bonfire of the Vanities – Submit your worst post of the week.
There are several other carnivals I failed to mention, I’m sure, but this is a good start. You should be able to find information on how and when to participate in the next carnival on the host blogs.
Sissy Willis reminded me of the Carnival of the Cats and Carnival of the Recipes. And here’s a new one: Friday Ark.
Steel says there should be a Carnival of the Idiots to showcase the most obnoxious commenters. Unfortunately, attention is exactly what they want, which is why I’d never participate. Don’t feed the trolls!
Also see Carnival of the Carnivals. Wow.
Aaron is back! He was on hiatus while looking for a job. Aaron creates what he calls “Blogopoly” pieces. Clever idea. Mine is a hotel with a steeple and a barbershop pole.
Robin Burk, a very nice lady and fellow CPAC blogger, has started her own blog, Random Probablilities. She’ll continue blogging at Winds of Change.
