Noooo!!!!!

Bring back the brown!

La Shawn 04.17.05 at 3:54 pm

You mean you don’t like this lovely gray and blue?

Mike M. 04.17.05 at 4:04 pm

Certainly not as bad as hot pink and lime green for a color theme.

But, playing with themes can be a lot of fun. It’s a particularly good time, for me anyway, when I don’t have anything to complain about on my site.

Not feeling this one at. all. I’m fooling around w/ a WP site…i recommend the cub-reporter theme for you. that’s kinda hot.

Wooah!!! I though Firefox/WordPress took a dive. Gray & blue is a little stark. Granted it may be a work in progress, but methinks the brown theme & layout was pretty hard to beat. Also I really depend on “recent comments/trackbacks”. Sorry ;)

I liked the brown much better. It’s your blog if it suits you,
it suits me.

La Shawn 04.17.05 at 4:10 pm

I’m just playing around. :) I plan on keeping the brown.

I kind of dig this theme … although I miss seeing your smiling face in the corner.

Andy 04.17.05 at 4:10 pm

Like the ClueTrain reference at top-right.

Andy 04.17.05 at 4:12 pm

While you’re playing around, try some horizontal lines or bordered blocks to demarc the comments.

Andy 04.17.05 at 4:14 pm

Now I feel like I’m experiencing random themes :)

Andy 04.17.05 at 4:15 pm

Are you saving screenshots?

Andy 04.17.05 at 4:17 pm

USS Clueless-esque is definitely cool

salt1907 04.17.05 at 4:35 pm

I liked your original theme. I wouldn’t change a thing. Dance with the one that brought you – go with what made you successful in the first place.

P.S. And please blogroll me!

salt1907 04.17.05 at 4:37 pm

This one is even worse!

Monster Kabasue 04.17.05 at 4:37 pm

Hey no fair how he get avatar?

salt1907 04.17.05 at 4:38 pm

I liked having the avatar appear next to the comment. Your original theme doesn’t do that. But it’s still better than those experiments.

Cleveland football fans might have a bias when they call on Ms. Barber to bring back the Brown. But, hey: the browns are warm, inviting, a friendly place to talk about life, the universe, and everything. The stuff in outer space is a lonely planet singing the blues.

salt1907 04.17.05 at 4:47 pm

I changed my theme once. The change caused my site meter button to disappear. If I did it today, I would probably lose my ads also.

LawWife 04.17.05 at 5:15 pm

I kinda like the simpler themes, but it’s not my blog and I’m obviously in the minority. ;o) If someone says something derogatory toward me, would that be a hate crime?

Alli 04.17.05 at 5:26 pm

Wow. I was a little shocked. Its a nice change, shocking but nice. This is a good one, the blue and white. Much clearer interface. I like it.

Ian 04.17.05 at 5:54 pm

This is def. not you La Shawn heh! why not use the one you PAID for ;)

Agent Tim 04.17.05 at 6:13 pm

I agree…:) Everything on the left jumps on IE…of course, everything on IE messes up ;) . I liked the old design. Keep up the good work!

Agent Tim 04.17.05 at 7:10 pm

It’s back! Looks great!

Chris Roberts 04.17.05 at 8:04 pm

I missed the blue and gray???

That’s it, I’m refusing to do any more work around the house and plan on watching LB’s site exclusively. ;>

Jason 04.17.05 at 9:06 pm
