We were promised by the pro-choice community that legalized abortion would end back-alley abortions with coat-hangers. Just what part of this would they consider progress?
I am so outraged about this I had to close my laptop for 10 minutes for fear of breaking it.
This makes me absolutely sick…but it corresponds with my argument against abortion anyone…
How can a baby be a “fetus” and then be a “child” with fully protectable rights…simply because it is outside of the womb instead of in? A vagina is this difference between human and a lump of cells…
I want to vomit. Then I want to get in my car, drive down to Florida, find the (omitted) (omitted) (omitted)s who are responsible for this infamy and dispense justice on them from my own hand. Because you can bet your boots that the libs will make sure that the State of Florida doesn’t do it.
I also blame the mother, Angele. I know that it is considered non-PC to blame a woman for having an abortion, but this… harpy carried the baby for months before deciding to get rid of it. It seems that her only problem is that she had ex post facto pangs of conscience when she saw what she’d done. It’s harsh to say it, because I think she’s suffered a lot, but she is guilty of premeditated murder and should be punished accordingly. She went into that place with the idea that little Rowan wouldn’t come out alive. Now she wants to sue the ghouls who did the dirty deed.
This is so f***ed up.
I need to throw up.
Absolutely sickening. Every woman who seeks an abortion, especially those wanting partial births, should be required to have an ultrasound and to have personal consultations with adoption agencies. There are thousands of childless couples who would pay all medical expenses for the chance to cherish those children as their own, yet these women are railroaded into thinking that killing the child is the only way.
A room with blood spattered on the wall? Screaming for help and no one came? That’s women’s lib? That’s “control of your own bodies?” That’s insane.
There is a book titled “The Baby in the Bottle” [as I remember] by the same man who wrote “Dr. X,” about a similar occurrence where the doctor was unsuccessfully prosecuted. I read the book and reluctantly agreed with the acquittal under the ‘beyond a reasonable doubt” requirement. Sadly, the baby got no such “benefit of doubt.” The mother to be decided, “I don’t want it,” and the entire medical profession was there to help her get rid of the baby.
Let’s see now. Florida.
Terry Schiavo
Jessica Lunsford
Sadly I forget the other girl’s name.
This baby.
Is there something in the water?
I saw the photos and couldn’t read the article. I’m too sqeamish, and my love for the innocence of infancy outweighs my quest for news.
I was thinking of moving to Florida because of the concealed weapon law bill they were trying to pass, but that’s about the only thing good going for them…
I can’t live somewhere where children can disappear or be killed and no one knows/cares.

No, but is something on the Florida Supreme Court–or rather several somethings. That is at least part of the problem.
What I don’t understand is why the coroner refused to do an autopsy? Is it legal for him to decline? I thought all deaths outside hospitals required an autopsy or maybe that’s just a state law here in Texas.
Also, I would love to see the abortion community go down but who would you prosecute in this case? The mother who took the labor-inducing drugs is obviously the guilty party. We seem to always direct our anger at the doctors and nurses and instantly forgive the mothers saying they were coerced by society’s demands (or fill in your own reason). In reality they are truly the guilty party because it is their job (and the father’s too but let’s not go there) to protect their child.
absolutely sickening.
Lord, little Rowan’s life is over here, before it even had a chance to begin. His life with You, however, will last forever. Thank you, Jesus, for welcoming Rowan into Your open arms. Amen.
Under Pro-Choice, a baby does not become a human until it can say “mama” and spell it correctly. Florida judges are particularly obcessed with this. They even extend Pro-Choice to allow the murder of adults who happen to be a “burden” like Terry Schiavo. It almost happened here in Georgia a few weeks ago to an elderly woman moved from a nursing home to a hospital to be starved to death, and she had a written advance directive saying she wanted care under any circumstances. Fortunately the local authorities stepped in and moved the woman to a hospital in Alabama for the proper care.
I.N.S.A.N.E. I can only pray in due time Roe v Wade will be overturned. Sometimes, I’m amazed that God even puts up with our wickedness.
Sad.
Painful to read.
Pray for the poor little babies and their parents. (Yes, even their parents. Who of us has not sinned?)
I agree, ultrasounds should be mandatory before abortion. Focus on the Family has a new program to help Pregnancy Research Centers buy ultrasound machines. It’s called “Option Ultrasound” and pays for 80% of the machines and helps them figure out how to get trained personnel to run them. The rate of people who choose to keep their baby after visiting a PRC without seeing an untrasound is 57%; those who see an untrasound after visiting a PRC, 79% keep their baby.
I haven’t sent them money yet (you can designate for that cause) but plan to soon. (I have a 2 month old and a toddler–they’ve kept me pretty busy, but he’s starting to sleep through the night so I should have enough energy to send them money soon, along with a few other “nice to do” things that I haven’t seemed to get to yet.)
Sure, somebody should be charged with murder but the first most person who would be charged is the mother. We always tend to blame the doctor but automatically forgive the mothers.
Does anybody know why the coroner was able to refuse to do the autopsy?
How could you kill an innocent it should be illegal because you are the one who got pregnant and if you don’t want that babies then you should not have got pregnant.
EPOC and Orlando Women’s Clinic gladly advertize 2nd and 3rd trimester abortions. I am in Orlando and OWC piles women in like sardines on Saturday mornings. The doctors are getting rich and babies are tossed aside. Reaching out and stepping out can be difficult, but can help. Some women tell us to F*** OFF as we sidewalk counsel, but others listen, are open to prayer and walk away from the clinic. Having a presence there that says “you have other options” can have a profound effect. It makes their “choice” more real when they see pictures of baby Rowan or a free sonogram of their own baby. Consider how you might legally be used to help add a voice to the voiceless in Florida (if you are local) or in your community.
