Ms. Barber, I hope that you are doing well. I came upon your website sometime during the last presidental election. I added it to my favorites and i check it out every now and then. I am a 47 year old black male, truck driver by trade. I have two kids, ages 31 and 22 years old. My daughter dropped of college after 2 years. My son is currently attending collge about to graduate. I am proud of both of them, I think they will succeed in life. My question to you is, do you think that Jesus was white or of color? I ask you this question, because the bible is suppose to be about truth. When I was in the US Army stationed at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL, I came upon a book written in the 1800's, I forget the author. The author was a minister of that period, the subject was Cain and the curse of black people. I think you have heard that argument before. So since 1979 when I read that book, I have searched for the answer about Cain, I think I found the answer. It never made since, that Jesus was white, walking in the desert, with blonde hair and blue eyes and pale skin. I finally came upon the most likely answer. Let me quote Ms. Catherine M. Livers from her book Biblical History of Black Mankind, Chapter 2, page 7, "As Chritians, we believe that the word of God is inerrant in its original Hebrew and Greek context. The prophets of God wrote the words as God breathed upon them. All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of god may be thoroughly equipped for every good work (II Tim. 3:16 NIV}. God is not a man that He can lie. Our lack of faith in God's word will not nullify the truth. Let God be true and every man a liar. As it is written: "So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge" {Romans 3:4 NIV}. Many Christians would probably shun the ethnicity of Adam as unimportant. Are we God's judge? The book of Genesis was written by Moses as God breathed upon him and revealed His truth to him. All that God has inspired to be written is important. He is not the author of frivolous work. If he did not want mankind to know Adam's ethnic identify, He would not have revealed it to Moses and inspired him to write it." This is from the back cover of her book " C. McGhee Livers is a sought after teacher and translator of the Greek and Hebrew Biblical languages. She has taught these languages at several colleges. As she began translating the 4000 year old Hebrew manuscripts of the Old Testament into English, she found astounding truth concerning the origin and destiny of mankind. These truths are recorded in this book, Biblical History of Black Mankind. Liver's credentials have earned her a place among the most influential individuals in the United States. Her achievements are published in Marquis 2003 Who 's Who in America, the leading Biographical reference publisher of the hightest achievers across the country and around the world. I find it interesting that no one has come forward to challenge Ms. Livers. Have you read her book, or are you aware of her? I look forward to hearing from you, your homework assignment is to read her book if you have not read it. Or if you have read it, to comment upon it. I can't wait for your response. In closing, let get to the truth. Thank you Fred.
