“Runaway bride Jennifer Wilbanks graphically described a sexual assault by her alleged captors — first by a woman and then by a man — in the phony abduction tale she told cops, according to police documents released yesterday.”
Wilbanks claimed she was kidnapped April 26 by ‘two individuals, a ‘Hispanic male’ and a ‘white female,’ and thrown in the back of a van,’ according to a police summary of her April 30 interview with cops conducted on what was supposed to be her wedding day.
Wilbanks told cops her hands were tied with a rope and she was sexually assaulted in the back of a van.
‘The individuals placed her on her right side on the floor of the van and made her face the back door. The male then began driving while the female stayed in the back of the van,’ the report says.
Wilbanks said the man had ‘rotten teeth’ and that she couldn’t understand him because he only spoke Spanish. She said the woman was bilingual.” (Source)

For more of her crude lies, read the 911 transcript. Isn’t there a law against making up stuff for a police report? I suppose it doesn’t matter. The fragile, troubled, “cold-footed,” klepto debutante won’t be charged.

I lost interest in this story after the “faked abduction” truth came out. Just read the transcript and your comments. You do have a gift for humor:
“Boo, hoo hoo…I’m running out of material here.”
Right now she and her fiance should be insisting on paying restitution for the search, etc. My guess is that her fiance and many of her family and friends are enablers. When explaining themselves, I’m sure they all take the “high road” and call it forgiveness.
I have a problem with the whole scenario as it is anyway but to lie about a sexual assault does a total disservice to the many women (and men) who are REALLY raped, and otherwise abused in this country all the time. It’s hard enough to come forward as it is to report this type of crime.
La Shawn:
I am certain Wilbanks took note of the Wynona Rider shoplifting incident.
This was a win win win for Ryder, and Wilbanks as well.
Ryder’s shoplifting was no doubt a stunt:
1 Ryder got free publicity she could never afford, new movie roles, and never went to jail, as most shoplifters do not go to jail. This was predictable.
2 When was the last time “Saks Fifth Avenue” had so much free publicity?
3 In the divisive multicultural cess pool of LA, what better target could the DA attack than a “Rich White Girl”?
This was win win win for all involved. Likewise for Wilbanks.
I am so sick of this women being mollycoddled. Even on my thyroid support board (thyrod.about.com) there is concern the reason for her stupidness was because she may be hyperthyroid … I had Graves (hyperthyroidism) and I never did anything near as stupid and embarrassing as this. This women needs to go to jail for False Report of a Crime — PERIOD. If it was a guy, he’d already be under the jail.
And you can be sure she’ll be making a guest appearance on Oprah and Dr. Phil (but hopefully in interview from her prison cell).
Wilbanks has a history of shoplifting on more than one occcasion. I just remember some restitution. Apparently she is being treated at an “in-patient” facility for her “issues.”
Wilbanks is a nurse. I also think she maybe an addict–you know, one of those people who steal your drugs or money and then help you look for them…
Time will tell…
Snargle boggle orblingle figgle atrikkz.
And one to grow on.
Maybe I’m being too harsh, but I think that if her fiance can’t see this whole thing as a preview of the goodies that await him in married life, then he deserves what’s coming.
Sounds like she now needs our prayers, not our scorn.
How about both? Scorn the corporeal behavior, pray for the soul.
Even before she was found, I thought something was going on with this woman. Every picture of her (and there were dozen flashing on the 24 hour stations) shows this rather manic looking stare.
And….I wonder, with the Hispanic groups in an outcry over the bad name she gave them with her false report, why short, dumpy white woman aren’t equally concerned that they have been labeled as criminals?
You mean she wasn’t abducted by aleins? and tested by aliens or forced to marry a wookie?
Too bad she wasn’t an illegal alien. The law “enforcement” guys would have let her off with a warning.
