Given how shoddy a job their ‘professional’ journalists have been doing over the past couple of years, it’s about time they got help from the pajamahadeen.

I suspect, though, that the only blogs / submissions they take had better include words and phrases like:

- quagmire
- cowboy
- imperialist
- freedom fighter
- sexed-up intelligence
- stupid Americans
- blood for oil
- we hope George Bush cuts himself in half on his Texas ranch with a chainsaw

etc.

I’ve been blogging the AI gulag controversy, which showcases how a good idea has gone sour (that being human rights groups putting politics over real concern for human rights).

In other words, North Korea gets a pass on its real gulag archipelago. Cuba gets a pass on its gulag archipelago. But the US gets slammed for holding a couple hundred guys it scooped up off the battlefield in Afghanistan.
