Blogger Michael Reed has died of a heart attack. The avid golfer blogged under the name Bunker Mulligan. He and I were blogging pals from the days when I first started back in 2003.

La Shawn, I’ve followed many a link from Mike’s site over to yours and read some great stuff; he had enormous respect for you. I’m his step-son-in-law, and just wanted to thank you for your gracious recognition of this sad event on behalf of his entire family.
Mike started out as just another interesting Blog acquaintance and ended up being a good friend. His passing is made all the more poignant because he was such a great help and support when I had heart surgery 5 months ago. Mike was one of the first to email and then telephone my wife whle I was in the hospital offering his strong will as support. He was one of the first to phone me when I got home and continued to call to lend his moral support to my recovery, which by the Grace of God is going well. His passing has affected me deeply.
