I’m hitting the road today and may not have online access until tonight. If your comment gets caught in the moderation queue, you’re a first-time commenter, regular reader who used a spam word, or a troll. I’ll approve first-timers and regulars tonight.

Thank you for the e-mails and comments of concern and encouragment (and chastisement). Posting for the next couple of weeks may be spotty, but don’t worry about me. I like blogging. I make a living from blogging (helping others do it), and I’m not giving it up any time soon. In fact, I’ll be talking about blogs at another conference in a couple of weeks, National Conservative Student Conference.

While I’m away, visit these blogs:

bookD.L. Foster, a Christian and former practicing homosexual, contacted me a couple of years ago to share his story, and now he’s blogging. Check out his new blog and his book, Touching A Dead Man.

Carolyn McCulley, author of Did I Kiss Marriage Goodbye?, has also joined the blogosphere with Solo Femininity.

Stan Guthrie, an editor at Christianity Today, is also blogging.

Tales of a Wandering Mind
has a story about what I call “Christophobia.” (Much more accurate than “Christianophobia.” It’s not us these people are afraid of.

  5. Glad to see you’re not giving up blogging. You had me worried there for a minute!

    I participated in Jack Lewis’ Why Blog? Survey. Very interesting, especially as I’m brand-new to writing my own blog. (You are one of my inspirations.)

    Best wishes,
    Denise

  6. I kinda feel like I’ve had a nod and a sidewave from the Queen of England, but this is lathered with much more grace from the Queen of Blogdom. Thanks LaShawn for the mention!

  7. LaShawn;
    You have so many good links that even when you feel discouraged and are very busy, you have something to contribute through your links. Thanks for the blog and for the great links.

    Safe travels… Thanks for mentioning my blog–you’re too kind…

    Cheers,

  9. I’m glad you are feeling better, now. I can’t begin to understand how frustrating it can be to have a blog that is popular to both conservatives and liberals. You’re a strong woman and you always come back with a lefthook to die for. Be safe on your trip and may God be with you.

  13. On 7/8, La Shawn put up a post about fasting on 7/11 for the victims of the London terror bombings. The support and praise she received on these message boards was overwhelming. Just wondering if La Shawn and those who fasted could share their experiences from their day of fasting.

  14. I had no idea homosexuals had to practice. I thought it was, you know, like riding a bicycle.
