I’ve coined a new age-of-terrorism phrase: The Granny Grab.
Because race/religious profiling of young men of Middle Eastern descent is “racist,” “too expensive,” and “impossible anyway.”
Tony Blair said he wasn’t going to let Islamofascists change the way “we” live or how “we” fight the war on terrorism. If he doesn’t think old women being felt up in airports (while illegal Mexicans and Middle Eastern men work on airplane engines) reflects a different way of living, his head is buried under a mound of garbage, just like George Bush’s.
Backbone, Tony, or just more PC huffing and puffing? The first law you need to change is the one that allows the government to give taxpayers’ money to unemployed young men of Middle Eastern descent with criminal records. That might be helpful.
The “headophobes” strike again. What bigots, man! What did anyone’s head ever do to them?
Update: MSM are more interested in Gitmo “torture” than stories like this.

You know, I can’t help but wonder…
The terrorist attacks being committed around the world are for the most part being carried out by men of middle-eastern descent. What if they were of African descent? What if the Islamic warlords of Somalia declared war on the U.S. and all of its allies in the same way the Islamic radicals have? Would all black men around the world suddenly become potential suicide bombers in the eyes of the general public? Would the typical young black male in America become even more suspicious? Is fat meat greasy?
What would be most interesting to me would be the reaction of the so-called “black leaders”. I pose this hypothetical scenario because I hardly ever hear of Jesse, Al, or anyone else of their ilk ever speak out against the alleged profiling of middle Eastern men. Just a thought.

It is unlikely that Dominica, or anywhere else, is going to set itself up as the “home away from home” for deported terrorists. I guess England still has it in its blood to look for a modern penal colony since Australia and the state of Georgia are no longer an option.
International law, being what it is, will undoubtedly come into the fray on “sending them back to where they came from.” Egypt certainly doesn’t want all the troublemakers back stirring up their already troubled waters.
I have a great hope (and a little information) that we have a fair amount of help from Muslim countries in identifying the troublemakers within.
This idea that keeps coming up about profiling on some whole race or religion is just pure distortion and nay-saying. The head terror cop in NYC went through the employee roster for the city and pulled the files on all the foreign-born Farsi, Urdu and Sanskrit speakers in the department. This included cops, meter maids and janitors. He has created a huge pool of employees who live in the neighborhoods where Islamic radicals are likely to live and who can understand what is being said and who can read the bulletins, graffiti, web postings, etc. Is this profiling? You better believe it is and it is of the most productive nature.
Can we get away from the idea that profiling is rounding them all up because of their color or their head wear or what food they buy? We are so much more sophisticated than that!
I agree with La Shawn that Bush and Blair are more swayed by political correctness and not making waves than they are about taking historic steps to meet this dragon head on. I want to see our borders made secure (as possible) and our vast population of illegal aliens dealt with decisively.

A couple of years ago I made an offhand remark that political correctness would bring our country down. I had no idea then how true those words might become. Civilizations are brought down by a variety of things: external invasion, internal implosion, natural disaster rendering governments impotent, spreading one’s civilization too far to maintain control….. many scenarios. Who would have dreamed in their wildest dreams that the fear of ‘hurting someone’s feelings’ could be the potential WMD of the world’s greatest civilization. It boggles the mind.
This guy arrived in Britain in 1992 as a child. Assuming it took awhile to acclimate and he DID spend 5 years in prison … this guy has only been out since around 9/11.
I thought it got harder for such as this to escape detection after 9/11, not EASIER.
I shudder to think about the magnitude of this dilemma HERE.
