Vincent has a blog here. I am guessing that he was killed by the same people he wrote about. It’s sad to hear what happened and I am glad he is getting a lot of attention in the blogs and the media.

Regarding Steven Vincent. He certainly was a very brave man whose writing I will miss. I’m just an ordinary citizen – no blog, nothing other than interest in winning what I will continue to refer to as the GWOT.
Based upon his July 31, 2005 posting to the NYT shouldn’t we consider the possibility that he was assassinated by the newly trained but clearly Shia-leaning Basra security forces?
