It’s very difficult to discuss the ACLU and not curse. But there is a group on the left, such as the ACLU, that don’t just disagree with sane tactics for fighting this war, they are actually rooting for the enemy.

Webster needs to rethink their process for defining terms in the English language, apparently. Hate, according to Webster, implies an emotional aversion, coupled with enmity or malice. CAIR, and so many on the left, merely use the term hate-speech as a censoring device, to chill dialogue that is not consistent with their own ideology. Hate speech is now defined as any speech promoting a cogent dialogue about serious problems we are facing, when the truths revealed, or questioned asked, pertain to the behavior of ‘annointed groups’. This is the result of schools that indoctrinate, and fail to educate. Too few ‘uneducated scholars’ even know what words really mean any more. I guess that’s why so many liberals on campuses have to throw food at conservative speakers, as they are at a loss for words to express their ideas….

La Shawn, What’s funny to me about the ACLU’s lawsuit, about having your bags searched before entering a train, bus, etc., is that their lawyers will have their bags searched when they enter the courthouse! And this pre-dates 9/11!

““We are strong supporters of the First Amendment, but it is disingenuous to misuse it as a shield for incitement to religious hatred,” said CAIR Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper in a statement Wednesday.

“WMAL needs to address the promotion of Islamophobia by its talk show hosts if the station is to maintain credibility with mainstream listeners and advertisers,” said Hooper.”

NYCLU to sue NY police department

My suggestion is for the city pencil pushers and the NYCLU to leave the NYPD alone rather than subject them to pointless demands for ‘proof’ that they aren’t profiling.
