Update II (8/9): World Magazine Blog has a brand new look. And new editors.
—————————————————————————–
Bloggers, bloggers, bloggers. I love the bloggers (and certain non-bloggers, too)! I’m getting some strong link love today, and I want to spread it around. But before I get to the sites, I have a brief announcement.
Certain segments of the Young America’s Foundation (YAF) conference (see this post) were shown on C-SPAN yesterday, and I got a ton of e-mail from people who’d never heard the word blog before. If any of you are reading this, thank you for the e-mails. I may not be able to respond to each of you, but I read all of my e-mail, and your encouragement is much-need right now. I plan to do a series on blogging basics (what is a blog, etc.), so check this site at least once a week if you can’t visit every day.
- I met Edward Sanders at the the conference last week. Visit this young conservative’s blog and give him some encouragement, too.
- Blogger Jim Cannon, who was in a coma, is out of the hospital and recovering. Please keep him in your prayers.
- Visit the The Old Schoolhouse, a homeschooling magazine, and sign up for their promotion if you’re a homeschooler. Other children should be so fortunate.
- Apologetics Resource Center and BLOG
- Smart Christian has a new online bookstore.
- Christian Recovery
- Dan Morgan blogs about a different kind gun control.
- Also see Objective Justice, The Colossus of Rhodey, Area417 (sounds scary!), Pyhoya…
- And bringing up the rear is my business web site, The Language Artist. I offer blog consulting services for businesses and web site critiques for individuals.
Do you have a link-worthy post? Let us know!
More links!:
- Lowell Brown blogs about the ACLU’s war on the Boy Scouts of America.
- Did you know there was a Conservative Underground? I just hope they’re civil, unlike the vulgarians at Democratic Underground, which I wouldn’t dream of linking.
- At Counseling Kevin, a lawyer makes observations on law and life while searching for intelligent life in cyberspace. It’s there, but you’ve got to dig deeply, my friend.
One more link before I go offline: Impacted Wisdom.

Hi La Shawn! The TGSOV trackbacks are from me. Thanks so much for the opportunity!
La Shawn,
Thanks again for the love and the links. We are spreading the word about your blog in Birmingham, AL.
I don’t know how you keep up with all this stuff LaShawn. It is amazing.
I’m a bit of a fanatic.
LB: “I plan to do a series on blogging basics (what is a blog, etc.), so check this site at least once a week if you can’t visit every day.”
Cool! Lookin’ fwd to it
On the link worthy post, I think this post from my blog is somewhat link worthy … It’s about the fading influene of NOW and NARAL (yippee!)

Excellent links. There’s alot happening there, and we’re glad you shared it with us.
I wrote about some missionaries that were murdered in cold blood for showing the Jesus film today. Check it out.
I hope you don’t charge me for this, but your blog serves as a great tutorial for beginners – like me. I’m posting “the other” Iraq news and commentary on the blog and the website – take a look.
Hey LaShawn! I’ve been trying to trackback to your site for a while now and have had issue after issue with Halo Scan and another trackback service. I only have problems with your site and one other. Very sad.
We give you credit – but I wish the trackback would work!
Anyway, you’ve inspired us to start our own blog. Like JD says above – your blog has been a great “how to”!! Hope that’s okay.
xoxo,
The Patriotette
Simpletracks should work just fine. Give it a try: http://kalsey.com/tools/trackback/ – Admin
Simpletracks was the other site I tried. I get error messages like “the site is not accepting trackbacks” or some such. I’ll keep trying. Your post on Harry Belafonte must be posted.
Patriotette
Nevermind. Simpletracks just worked!
