A couple of homosexuals say they will publish the names and addresses of people who sign an anti-homosexual “marriage” petition in Massachusetts:
Lang, 42, said the name, street address, hometown and ZIP code of everyone who signs the petition will be posted on the Web site KnowThyNeighbor.org.
“Everyone’s scrambling to know who in their town would sign this,” Lang told the Boston Herald. “And this Web site will give gay people the tools to know, to defend themselves and their families, to let them go neighbor-to-neighbor and say, ‘I don’t appreciate your signing this.’”
“I’m going to be aggressive personally,” he said. “I want to know that the people I do business with are not against (gay marriage). This is going to be won by economics.” (Source)
Nasty fellows, aren’t they? I hope supporters of the ban on “gay marriage” will be just as aggressive in trying to stop this madness. What do all these rabid activists plan to do with the information? Mail letters? Call and harass people who signed the petition? Show up on their doorsteps? There are laws against trespassing, and the last time I checked, it was legal to own a gun in Massachusetts.

Important Update (5:07 p.m.): Good grief. Some big liberal blogger has linked to this post. As usual, his version of what I wrote is inaccurate. If these activists plan on harassing people at their homes, they should be aware that people don’t have to put up with ranting homosexuals at their doors demanding to know why they signed a petition.
Additionally, we all know how crazy people can be, and publicizing addresses and phone numbers on the Internet will expose people to crank calls from rabid lunatics or worse: some lunatic showing up at their house. Homeowners have a right to protect themselves and their families from lunatics. But go ahead and misconstrue my words for your own end. It’s to be expected.
And for those of you who think it’s “un-Christian” for people to defend themselves, you really ought to spend less time reading blogs and more time reading the Bible. There’s nothing more irritating than a heathen lecturing a Christian on how to be a Christian.
