No one seems to want to do anything…least of all Jorge Boosh. His fixation on Mexico, its illegals, and Vicente Fox is weird, almost to the point that it could be considered a fetish (def. “…eliciting unquestioning reverence or devotion.”). Why on earth he thinks importing poverty, illiteracy, and communicable diseases is a such a swell idea is way beyond me. Oh right, it’s so that we can pay $1.00 for a head of lettuce instead of $1.25.

Reminds me of listening to LT Gov Kaine’s (currently running for GOV here in VA) during a debate last week. He basically said it’s the government’s job adn these people are only trying to make a living. I was thinking that drug dealers can use the same argument to stay out of jail.

LaShawn please do a blog on La Nueva Orleans. An article in LA paper that reports that hoards of illegals are going to pour into the Gulf Region to take jobs being created by Katrina. I found this line telling:

Go figure. If all your security measures are aimed at the LEGAL way immigrants get here it’s a no brainer that those trying to come in the right way will be hindered and the criminals will just keep using the “illegal” back door route they have always taken. It also doesn’t help that we reward them for using the back door (jobs, education, free stints in a prison that has three hots and a cot, etc.). It all makes my head hurt.

One would think this was all rocket science or something (well it must be for those in the position to stop it since they can’t seem to figure out what to do).
