Looks like the anonymous anti-La Shawn person decided to give up “the fight.”
I discovered the blog last year and realized it was operated by someone I’d kicked off my blog. This person dedicated time and energy to “debunking” my posts. So compelled was he (I’m almost certain it was a man) to have his say about thoughts that came out of my head, he’d follow trackbacks on LBC to other blogs and leave comments and his URL. It was hilarious.
I’ll quote myself: “If you people couldn’t handle me in 2004, I think 2005 will be quite a miserable year for you.”
Whoever you are, I hope you’ve finally found something (anything!) worthwhile to do.

Wow! I guess you’ve really arrived. Your own anti-you web site, no less. I’d take that as a compliment — must be getting some good points across.
I’m always amused by these people who feel a need to do an “anti-whoever” site of there own. It’s ridiculous. I figure reading blogs is like watching TV. If you don’t like what’s on, change the channel and forget about it. I only read blogs that I like because my time is valuable to me, and I don’t enjoy working myself into a lather over what some obscure idiot wrote anyway.
Recently, I came across another one of these “anti” sites. As usual, it was a bunch of lefties trying to one-up a prominent conservative blogger. They even go so far as to counter them almost post for post, and all it really is, is a bunch of obsessive, scripted, repetitive hyperbole, much of it racist and sexist.
The best part is that all the comments were left by the contributing members of the blog, and their ecosystem ranking was something like a “dried up June bug” or whatever is about three steps up from insignificant microbe. Still, they really thought they were something special and on the cutting edge.
You’d think these types of people would rather get a real hobby… or maybe even a job! Lunacy abounds. Go figure.
I’m so jealous … obviously we need to create some sort of government entitlement program … well actually two.
One for those of us underpriv’d bloggers who need to level the field by having appointed to us an anti-blogger of our own.
The other a series of grants for those who would do the anti-blogging.
It could be done through government contractors so the costs are kept relatively hidden – after all, it would mean building a server, a network and software to insure it meets the higest government standards and costs 600 times as much as a space tiolet!
All that aside (and no I’m not bitter) – I’m glad to hear you’ve got a bit of peace back. You work hard on your blog and you don’t deserve a knucklehead nipping at your heels.
I on the other hand …
I think that the anti-blogger who tried (and failed) to “debunk” you was probably Howard Dean, the anti-Bush, anti-Republican, anti-Iraqi people, anti-immigration reform, anti-anti-tax, anti-religious freedom, etc. Who is more likely to lead the charge against you than the man who is against everything?
Speaking of Dean and Bush, I have recently come to realize that Goerge W. Bush is closer to being a traditional liberal than a real conservative. The thing is, with the current state of the modern democratic party and all their extremism, Bush actually looks like a right winger. The democrats have become lunatics and the republicans have gone soft.
The fact that true conservatives want true conservative leadership has not changed. But if real conservatives don’t come on the political scene in 2006 and 2008, I’m worried that fed up conservatives will hold back support for the RINO’s – because who wants RINO’s – and Hillary and her ilk will regain power.
Winning in Iraq is going to be a huge part of it. If things haven’t gotten markedly better over there in another year or so, our side is going to be toast. People – not the fringe left – but regular everyday people have been getting burned out on Bush for some time. He’s got to pick it up or it’s over.
RINO is such an ugly term, I prefer:
“Hubert Humphrey Republican”
And another whiny crybaby leftist moonbat bites the dust.
OWNED.
He was the very first (and, to date, only) person I ever banned from Wizbang for sheer asshattery, and then I went on to his page and ripped him a new one there.
Ahd his “style” of writing was so unreadable…
Good riddance.
J.
Rats…you found me out La Shawn.
Congrats, keep up the great work. The truth hurts and they’ll always try to demean the truth.
You are a winner!
I’ve found that if you just ignore them, they’ll get bored and go away. While I never had a blog specifically aimed against me, I did have one blogger who had some morbid fascination with me. Almost everyday, he’d either comment about me and my blog or would include comments about me in his posts about other topics. I’ve been completely ignoring him lately, though, and he seems to have stopped.
La Shawn, I know this is cheesy, but I really like the words of Will Smith when it comes dealing with these kinds of people:
“Throughout life people will make you mad,
Disrespect you and treat you bad.
Let God deal with the things they do
Cause hate in your heart will consume you, too.”
P.S. I am a .com-er now
They gave up threw in the towel and said uncle
