I have not picked my favorite. That is a hard decision. There are so many excellent ones out there, and yours is one of them.

I am, however, up to bribes. lol

Hey, don’t forget about the 2005 Milbloggies over at http://milbloggies.com – vote for the best military blogs by branch. That, or nominate Milblogging.com as the best military blog at the Weblog Awards (I know I know, shameless)

You’re too kind, John. :)

I always thought BlameBush! was a conservative guy satirizing liberals. Look at his blogroll. What liberal would have a bunch of conservatives, and only conservatives, on his blogroll? That gave it away for me. I’m the “Sistah Gone Astray.”

“Liberal Larry” is very good at what he does.

I nominate The Ipinions Journal for best blog. This guy writes original daily columns on international current events that are more insightful, provocative and witty than the weekly columns by people like Maureen Dowd. I like that he’s not like so many bloggers who just troll the INTERNET for articles, post an intro line and link to those articles. I also like that he beats-up on Democrats as much as Republicans.

La Shawn,

I know, I know. But who should I have picked instead? I couldn’t bring myself to vote for a real liberal blog. Besides, Liberal Larry is far more deserving. I can’t even think of any liberal blogs that stand out from all the others. No matter which one you go to, it’s all the same old warn out quasi-communist/pro-terrorist jibberish. Who needs that?

I nominated La Shawn for best Conservative blog, Michelle Malkin for best Media/Journalist blog, and Sacred Cow Burgers for best Humor blog. I don’t know what the Best Blog is yet.

I’m tempted to say that Mad Minerva is the best blog.

Forgive my commenting on the post just below — I must be link-challenged, because I cannot find the proper link anywhere! — but I had to acknowledge and thank you for that second paragraph.

there’s enough going in the world and ideas running around in my head to keep me blogging for years without even mentioning another blogger.

… absolutely!

I forgot all about the fact that it was time for those again… Then again, last year, I was not aware of them, until it was almost too late – I did get to make some nominations, though. The previous year, I had nominated some blogs, and several of them were chosen. Thank you so much La Shawn, for posting about this. Good luck in the contest!

You know, they really should have a teen blog category. :-D

I’m voting for you La Shawn, 100%. Best Conservative blogger I know. As for best blog overall, it’s a tough decision. I was torn between you and Michelle, but I like your analysis better. It’s easier to read.

I voted Mad Minerva for best blog.
