in Illegal Aliens

A group a white men with video cameras can ruin your whole day.

The power of the American collective to do good rather than circumvent the Constitution and thwart the efforts of law enforcement, is refreshing. Fed-up Americans are sending a message to illegal aliens that in this country, unlike Mexico, the rule of law, though waning, is still alive.

In other news, House Republicans tell George Bush to take his amnesty-for-illegal-aliens plan and sh…

Radical!

Nasty!

Good ole WaPo seeing things only through the eyes of the “down trodden” while inferring that but one of these people is in the country illegally.

I always marvel at liberals who can not see beyond the comfort of the end of their own noses.

Things are really rough in Dufar. But, Dufar suffers the accident of geography by not being hooked onto the continent of North America. Shouldn’t we “level the playing field” by flying illegals in from around the globe?

On another note, I was particularly impressed to learn from the WaPo article that one of the minutemen smokes. Oh, the shame of it!

Meanwhile, The WaPo long ago abandoned the decay of Washington, D.C. for the upscale climes of suburban Virginia. Not too far from Herndon, in fact.

I think you had a comment on here earlier where some guy said Bush should make businesses who hire illegals pay a substantial fine for each one and use the money to better enforce immigration laws.

I think thats the best way to go. It’s so simple. They come here illegally for the jobs, so if we take away the jobs they wont come here.

This stuff is like a cancer. Illegal labor is so intertwined into this economy.

Businesses hiring these illegal worker are the blood supply that needs to be cut off.

Maybe this minute-men should start protesting at all of these construction jobsites. I’d love to see that.

This is a tough issue to deal with within the Christian scene because if you’re involved in an organization that wants to help immigrants, you’re most likely going to meet illegal immigrants. So what do you do? You want to love these people, but you know they’re breaking the law. It’s a constant struggle!

Let me get this straight. The story here is poor illegals, here with only a buck in their pockets, while those rich white people prevent them from earning a few bucks for their starving families.

The journalist takes great pains to report things from the illegal’s point of view. “a daughter at home who always asks why he’s not there to tuck her in at night”. And his idea of getting the other side’s view is to say “they sat in the diner discussing how it effects their community.”

Uh huh. Mind letting us know what they said? How is it effecting the community? Care to tell?

guess not.

MJ- you’ve pointed out a very key point. On one hand, we want to help people- all people from any country. You feel sympathy for the dad who wants a better life for his kids.

At the same time, you feel that there is a right way to go about doing it. And feeding one person’s kids with food stolen from the mouths of another person’s children is not the way to go about doing it.

Well, part of the problem is that they don’t necessarily come here with kids–a certain amount of them come here pregnant and jump over the border in time to have kids, or they have kids once they get here.

First of all I don’t believe the issue is breaking the law. Cause we all have broken the law for one reason or another. For example, speeding to get to work on time, littering, medical emergency, what ever it is its OK for you but not the other people. If you want to blame somebody blame your own government & businesses. As it is most white people that are here, now broke the law by coming here where they were not invited and enacted their own laws. Now look back in history of immigration and you’ll see how the immigrant help during a time a war & when their was labor shortages and when they were not needed they were mistreated & send back to their country. What really worries the white people is that its getting more mix. ha ha too bad.
