As for Bush doing something wrong, it only took me less than 2 minutes to find the U.S. Code (law) that gives him the right to do what he did and yes he can order wiretaps without a warrant…!

court order under this subchapter to acquire foreign intelligence
information for periods of up to one year.

The New York Times did the Bush Administration a FAVOR for holding the story for OVER A YEAR. If they had released the story in 2004 PRIOR to the election, you’d be complaining about President Kerry right now.

Perhaps the Republicans need a little Joe Gibbs themselves. They’re digging their own graves day by day. Domestic spying occurred just fine– legally, with constitutionally-mandated warrrants. There is no legitimate reason to circumvent the 4th Amendment of the Constitution and people don’t need the “liberal media” or Democrats to point that out to them.
