A nation of outlaws. To me it is interesting to “profile” the driving behaviour of an “outlaw”.

I was at a four way stop the other day where an outlaw just looked at me and went through the intersection without stopping. So at a stop sign it seems we don’t have a level playing field. I have a drivers license and registration that tracks me back to accountability. The outlaw… what is his real name? Where is he living? Does he have to worry about paying a ticket? Apperently not. He probably doesn’t even have to worry about getting pulled over. Cops are thouroughly intimidated by this “profiling” argument.

My historical interpretation on the Mexican American(Texan) war was that Texas wanted to have the benefits of the rule of law. Santa Anna and Panch Villa wanted gangsta rules. There was a war that put that border where it is. Now this “border crossed us” argument is kind of thin if you ask me. All of this was stolen from us… so now we are justified in stealing. But it wasn’t stolen. It was the people of Texas asserting their desire for the rule of law and self determination. All of this… son to be up in smoke.

Add my area to the list. Our newly elected county sheriff has sent a bill to INS for over $70,000 for the housing of illegals in the county jail. He is on a crusade, along with a county commisioner and a state rep, all from Butler County, OH. The sheriff is arresting all illegals and sending them for deportation. The county commisioner is making a mandate for all county employers to prove that their employees are legal, and the state rep is introducing legislation about illegals crossing into the state. We are starting to get quite the problem here. We currently have 2 illegals on the lam, one for raping a 8-year-old, another for a murder (in broad daylight) in front of a bar.

Oh, yeah, Sheriff Jones has also put the “chain gangs” back into effect, removed the sattelite TV for inmates, and serves “Warden burgers” to inmates who act up. You take the days meal, grind it all up into a loaf, slice it and serve with bread.

We like this guy.

South Carolina should be on this list.they passed a bill here a few months ago,saying that if businesses hire illegals,that they will get some jail time a fine.Now,I would love to see this done in all the other states.also,it is time Americans stop expecting less than from their children by making things to easy for them,that is another problem they don’t want to work.That is another problem that is overlooked when handling this issue too.I also would like to see our pols reverse that NAFTA and GATT and also CAFTA.NAFTA already has proved to be disastrous and I don’t expect it to be any better with CAFTA.

I heard yesterday that the little brother to a national identity card is about to be released to those who have to cross back and forth over the border frequently.

There is much to be concerned about with the concept of a national identity card, but I am fairly supportive of the idea.

However, I can just see the ACLU and Shrillery screaming about profiling people who don’t have one! (After all, it is your Constitutional free speech right to burn your national identity card, they would claim.)

Don’t get too excited about Massachusetts. If it wasn’t for talk radio, the reps would have passed the “in-state tuition for illegals” bill. The pressure and phone calls generated by the listeners left the reps with little choice. And remember, the Attorney General in Mass (and Democratic gubernatorial candidate, Tom Reilly, has publicly stated that he will not enforce the federal immigration laws. The retort is always “my family were immigrants…” but he never seems to remember the difference between legal and illegal immigrants. My guess is that it will cost him the Governor’s seat.

Some blogger ought to do an investigative report on this. If I had the time…

It would be enlightening, I’m sure, to follow whatever paper trail exists after illegal aliens fill out applications, employers fill out I-9s, etc. Like a 20/20 segment, the blogger somehow ends up in the offices of feds responsible for this and say, “This is an I-9 form that you didn’t check, a form filled about by an illegal alien with a bogus SS number. Tell the audience what you intend to do about it.”

The feds are NOT serious about this. The proof is in a file cabinet in my office. We dutifully fill out an “I-9″ form on every new hire, carefully documenting the person’s legal status. We then file the form. That’s it. The end. No checking is ever done by the feds. They don’t get a copy, they don’t check up on our copy, they DO NOTHING.

So how are we going to stop crooked employers from hiring illegals? I hope the states do more, much more, and shame the feds into actually doing their job of protecting the nation. Not holding my breath.

Who’s going to reimburse the American taxpayer, and specifically, the US citizen taxpayer who has no medical insurance, for all the stealing that the government has allowed illegals to do to us? How many Americans were unable to receive medical care in time of need because it was funneled toward illegals because of the Administrations’ NAFTA politicking and other crooked deals further burdening the heavily taxed worker and property owner. Good luck trying to turn these crooks around, as they are actually embracing more nefarious ways of enslaving us than those mentioned.

I think if Bush was really serious about it he could do something of substance. There was a guy on here who said Bush should sign an executive order to have Business who employ illegals fined $10k per illegal.

Cut it off at the source, the illegals will leave and the econmoy will adjust. Wages will have to increase to attract those LEGAL workers.

I was almost rabid about the illegal immigration problem until I met the caretaker of an old lady in Illinois. She is from Lithuania, came here on a visa and when it was up, she stayed. There are lots of illegal caregivers nationwide. She makes $125 a day caring for this old lady and gets free room and board..ummm that’s $45625/year so don’t tell me they just take menial jobs and she doesn’t pay taxes either. Now, she would give almost anything to become a citizen..in fact she has saved money in case she has to pay a fine or something if Bush’s guest worker program goes through. She is a kind, decent, Christian woman who loves the Lord. And, we all know there is a tremendous shortage of caregivers in this country. The problem..our lottery system for becoming a citizen in this country is a joke. Why isn’t anyone talking about fixing this problem? Remember Ellis Island? (realizing of course I’m not including slavery here) We have to do something and soon to stop illegal immigration but why isn’t anyone looking at the core problem?
