Back on topic, LaShawn, I thought your review of “maverick lesbian and single moms” was very well written. I don’t think children without a mom and a dad are doomed to failure like some here apparently think, but I do think it is better to have both parents raising a child than just one.

The bible is very clear that every child is to honor his or her father in one way and his or her mother in another way, for each parent brings something different to the task of raising one or more children. In this day and age, the father gets the bum rap on most sit-coms on TV and that seems to be the new mantra for many super moms with husbands. Men need to step up to the plate and be an equal partner in the raising of their children. I was reading a piece on the single mothers who shop the sperm banks to raise theiur children as single parents (in the NY Times Magazine) and the only part that made any sense to me was when one mom found a new boyfriend and said that it gave her such a sense of peace to see her new boyfriend playing with her child as a father figure. Kids need both a mother and a father and you are absolutely right that no study done correctly will ever say differently. Sadly, in this day and age, there will be some studies that will not be done correectly but done in a biased way to support the desires of single super moms. God help our children.

Regarding the Army of David, I’ve always been cynical of the news media. Pretty much all of the news channels are owned by a few corporations.

This has nothing to do with your review, but have you heard of the near billion dollar settlement talks with the black woman who had originally come up with the idea of the Matrix films back in the late 70’s,early 80’s? Absolutely no coverage of this in the media because they are owned by the corporations accused of stealing her idea.

I’m with you on that. I wasn’t blogging then, but what the blogs did in bringing out the truth (not to be confused with the CBS-wannabe-truth) was beautiful.

Thanks La Shawn for reviewing the book. I thought of reading it but I didn’t need yet another secular book trying to justify sin and leading folks down the road to hell.
