You’ve got your wish, Mayor Nagin. Chocolate City is back! To his credit, Nagin wants the federal government to “move cautiously” with its restoration of Section 8 housing. And you won’t believe this:
Nagin said yesterday that he would support requiring public housing residents to work if they are physically able to.
Requiring people to work for their keep. To contribute instead of always taking. Have you ever in your life heard such madness? And all this time I thought our great civilization just fell right out of the sky like magic…
