“In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to his own town to register.
So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.’”
(Luke 2: 1-12)

Merry Christmas Lashawn.
Yes La Shawn, I’m a baby blogger! I’m experimenting with different blogosphere’s, and still haven’t perfected mine yet but now know that it’s definitely the way to go!
I gave Cobb a headache on his blog with our Kwanzaa debate and figured I best concentrate on my blog. As soon as the Christmas season calms down, I’ll be giving my blog even more attention!
I’m finally a blogger! Yippee!!!
Merry Christmas to you too Dianne and all others! Yes, how great it is to say those words! I won’t tire of it - ever!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, La Shawn.
I am safe with my family in Austin TX for Christmas.
I am thankful for God, and President Bush et al, for keeping us safer than we would have been without them. There is some mystery to why the USA IS THE WORLD’S CONSCIENCE - God really is here - we ARE superior to those who would harm us for no reason - except to harm us.
‘God helps people who help themselves” -
This is no more obvious than in the present, when the forces of evil are surrounding us -
People DO have the ability to ward off this evil, but only if they do wat is moral and right - the first step which is opening our eyes to see what we face.
I never believed in the Devil before 911 - now I do - and it takes God and man together to defeat the Devil.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year - again.
Merry Christmas La Shawn…
I hope you all have everything you need and are surrounded by the ones you love and the ones that love YOU…
