I have Dreams of My Father, but haven’t read it yet, as some of it may hit a little too close to home (my father and mother divorced when I was an infant and I have yet to meet my father face-to-face).

I don’t know whether racism caused Obama’s parents to divorce or not–but I suspect that cultural differences were the culprit as was so for my parents (many Africa cultures do pratice polygamy, including some of the Kenyan tribes). BTW, my mother is a black American.

Not important. Obama is bad for America for a number of reasons:

1. Not black enough.
2. Not white enough.
3. Not Conservative enough.
4. Not Liberal enough.
5. Says all the wrong things.
6. Says all the right things.
7. Is a fake Muslim.
8. Is a fake Christian.
9. Has the wrong name.

I’ve mentioned in times past here that Believers must sometimes forcefully challenge false teachers, lest by our silence, the world thinks we approve.

I’ll go ahead and take 4 shots at it for now and eagerly await to see other potshots:

1) So what does that make Abrahm, whom God called to forsake the land of his fathers? A sellout to his native land?? Didn’t Ur/Babylon have something to do with the dawning of civilization?

God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation.

2) It’d be nice if everyone remembered that if it wasn’t for amazing grace and the diligence of fundamental evangelists, slavery would well be with us. IOW, it was NOT the liberals who ushered in the concept of human rights, rather the God-fearing Christians. So I expect Obama will be reminding his new friends of that fact.

We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.

Trinity United Church of Christ adopted the Black Value System written by the Manford Byrd Recognition Committee chaired by Vallmer Jordan in 1981. We believe in the following 12 precepts and covenantal statements. These Black Ethics must be taught and exemplified in homes, churches, nurseries and schools, wherever Blacks are gathered.

They must reflect on the following concepts:

1. Commitment to God
2. Commitment to the Black Community

3) Uh-oh! Black Community before wife and family?? On second thot, Obama’s white mother must rank 13th or lower

10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions
11. Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
12. Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System.

The Pastor as well as the membership of Trinity United Church of Christ is committed to a 10-point Vision:

1. A congregation committed to ADORATION.
2. A congregation preaching SALVATION.

4) Really!?!?! Adoration before SALVATION??? This is all anyone need to know that this church is founded on shifting sands instead of THE ROCK. Do not walk. Run!! Run as far away from such false teachings.

4. A congregation with a non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA.
5. A congregation committed to BIBLICAL EDUCATION.
6. A congregation committed to CULTURAL EDUCATION.

8. A congregation committed to LIBERATION.
9. A congregation committed to RESTORATION.

Shocking! Can’t let facts get in the way of bashing Obama. After all, he said he triumphed over racism, which we all know is a figment of the imagination of neurotic blacks who don’t want to earn anything on merit. That can’t be right. Except that he did accomplish many things in spite of racism. Hmmm. Can we not even mention racism as a potential obstacle especially when it is?

I won’t hold Obama’s father’s lack of character against him. As long as Obama doesn’t carry on the tradition of bigamy. There are so many people in the world who come from a divorced home or a disfunctional household. What I do hold against Obama is being a liberal!
