Amnesty-for-Illegal-Aliens Bill

amnesty billI’ll have much more to say about the amnesty-for-illegal aliens bill and the puny-minded politicians who passed it. I’m so glad pro-enforcement Republican and conservative bloggers are revolting and making a ruckus over this putrid bill.

NZ Bear at The Truth Laid Bear created an easy-to-browse version. Check it out.

Hugh Hewitt and others are encouraging Republican-voting people not to support any Republican who voted for the bill. See his eight-part series.

Of course, the indefatigable Michelle Malkin is all over it here, here, and here.

George W. Bush’s amnesty wish has been in the making for a long time. I bemoaned it back in 2003, unable to understand why it was OK to choose which laws to obey. In the end, it doesn’t matter what I say or do. The people in power want amnesty for illegals, and if the man with the veto power wants it, that’s it. What does he care? He’s not running again. :?

To read more news and opinion on the bill, see Google News. More later…

Update (12:29 p.m.): Yesterday I mentioned seeing pro-amnesty DHS secretary Michael Chertoff yesterday in the Green Room at CNN. I don’t know why he was there, but he was interviewed last week about the amnesty-for-illegal-aliens bill on “Situation Room.” See the video at Hot Air. More on Chertoff from Debbie Schlussel. MM will discuss the amnesty bill tonight on “The O’Reilly Factor.”

Later…Check out the “blogburst” at the Washington Times blog.
