Barack Obama claims to have accepted Jesus Christ into his life.
He said faith in God “plays every role” in his life and it “propels me to do what I do.” He acknowledged that God “wants us to do the right thing,” but I’m having trouble reconciling the man’s words with his actions. (Source)
For instance, Obama voted against a ban on infanticide while a senator in Illinois. A partial birth abortion, as child murder is euphemistically called, is when a “doctor” grabs the unborn baby’s body and pulls him down the birth canal. With the baby’s head still inside the womb (to avoid murder charges), the “doctor” punctures the baby’s skull with a pair of scissors, killing him.
All in the name of “choice.”
Obama had a choice to allow that “faith in God” to guide him by protecting unborn life, yet he chose to allow murder. What faith is this that propelled Obama to choose death for innocents? What god of which bible moved Obama to support a heinous act like infanticide? Certainly not the God of this Bible.
Obama says he’s saved. I don’t know the state of the man’s soul. We all benefit from God’s common grace. Saving grace (and saving faith) is another matter. Whenever you hear people like Barack Obama professing Christ, but their words and actions seem to contradict their so-called faith, remember these words:
“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
“Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?” Then I will tell them plainly, “I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!” - Matthew 7: 15-23
By their fruit you will recognize them.
