Sioux Falls Planned Parenthood Temporarily Shuts Down

in Child Killing

Choose LifeRather than tell women the truth about the unborn life they’re destroying, Planned Parenthood in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, temporarily shut down its abortion mill.

Planned Parenthood sought and was granted a preliminary injunction to stop execution of the 2005 informed consent law, but that injunction expired last week. Under the law, abortionists must tell a woman she’s “terminating the life of a whole separate, unique living human being,” and the woman must certify that she understands. And get this: somebody in the mill must tell the woman she’s at a higher risk of suicide and depression if she kills her baby. (Source)

If abortionists fail to comply, they face loss of medical license, civil liability, and prison. (Also see S. Dakota abortion clinic still not performing abortions, local pro-lifers say and U.S. appeals court upholds S. Dakota informed consent law)

Child killing is legal in the United States, to my everlasting shame, but perhaps hearing and understanding what they’re about to do will discourage women from snuffing out that tiny life. This is a small and likely fleeting victory for the unborn and the pro-life movement, but it’s encouraging.

By the way, there are several ways to avoid having “unwanted” children:

  • Keep your legs closed; or
  • Use birth control; or
  • Carry the baby to term and adopt him out to a loving, stable family.

It’s not rocket surgery.

Update: Classy.
